Reliable PoE Splitter – Perfect for Raspberry Pi and USB-C Devices
This Gigabit Type-C PoE splitter works perfectly. It delivers a stable 5V 3A output and handles gigabit speeds without any issue. Setup was simple — just plug in the Ethernet and Type-C cables and it’s ready to go. I’m using it to power a Raspberry Pi and it’s been completely reliable. No drops, no overheating, and the build quality feels solid. The compact design also fits neatly into my setup. Excellent value for money and ideal for anyone needing clean PoE power over a single cable. Five stars without hesitation.

Saved Me Hours of Cable Routing!
Brilliant bit of kit. Worked just as promised. Bought a security camera to replace one that wasn't working. The old camera was powered via PoE, the new camera was powered via micro B. I really didn't want to route the new cameras power cable through the walls and ceiling so decided to give this a try. I plugged my ethernet cable in one end of the adaptor and plugged the camera into the micro b plug. The camera powered up and works perfectly. This little gizmo has saved me hours and hours of work. Well worth the money and some!!

Works for RPi 4
Works great for Raspberry Pi 4. Stable power, even with an audio DAC hat.

Works perfectly on a Raspberry Pi 3B
Does what it says on the tin. I have this connected to my Ubiquiti UniFI 8 PoE switch, and this was for a Raspberry Pi 3B running PiHole. Works perfectly.

Awesome bit of kit!
I recently had Giganet install an ONT – they wouldn't install it near the rest of my networking gear so I brought the network to it (so to speak) 😅 The ONT I was given has a 2.5mm barrel plug running at 12v and drawing a maximum of 0.6A so this 12v/2A PoE adapter was the perfect choice ⚡ I measured the inner/outer diameter with a set of digital callipers but the inner (ID) was tricky so I found a 2.5mm drill bit and dropped that down the barrel – the fit was snug so I went ahead with the purchase. Using a Unifi PoE injector between the WAN port on my router and the patch panel / wall port for the ONT, I plugged everything in and the ONT fired up without delay 🥳 Still achieving 1gbps symmetrical via Giganet and I can now run my home network off a single UPS in the 'server room' (aka a small cupboard 😆)

Edited - it is Gigabit - Second Edit - bought another !
I originally gave this item a 3 star review claiming it wasn't Gigabit. The seller has worked with me to show that this is not the case and I have now changed my review rating to reflect the true state. It was entirely my misunderstanding and the Seller was patient and diligent in working with me to understand the problem. Great Customer service, and as my original review stated, the adapter is excellent and solves the problem I had. Second Edit: Because of the excellent service I have now also bought a USB-C PoE variant - it's working perfectly!

100% failure on units purchased - poor RJ45 pressing
Bought 2 of these - both failed as they dont make a proper connection to the device. On inspection the RJ45 connector has been pressed too deeply, meaning teh pins dont make a reliable contact in the device socket. PoE works fine. Expensive for the poor quality

Works as described for a Raspberry PI 4
2 items were brought to power 2xRaspberry PI4 units, from our main switch. The switch reports the devices as IEEE class 0 (which had me confused as everything else is 3 / 4 - on googling it's reporting a valid POE class). These devices go up to 2.4A, the PI4 direct power supplies were 3.0A. However on updating and loading the PI4 units processors to 100% the power supply appears to be holding steady. The link speed is still holding at 1GBs just like before with no dropped packet's noticed. Should something change during initial use, I'll post an update, but initial impressions for the unit are extremely positive. I would purchase again based on initial testing and use over the last few hours.
