What an excellent purchase for my charterboat, we are required to have a 60 foot floating line attached to the life frame. It does not have to be orange but the orange line can be seen much better when in the water and you want a line that floats so it does not get caught up in your propellers.

I was looking for a marine grade anchor line for use with my small anchor we use when relaxing on the lake in tubes or kayaks. This is a bit longer than we needed, but the convenient clip makes hooking the line to the side of the craft easy and painless. Be sure to tie the anchor end well, so you don’t lose your anchor!

Lightweight quality floating rope with durable clip.

You get what you pay for. I needed some reflective floating line. It will do both those things, so 2 stars. But the line is scratchy, cheap, and has lots of inner core burs sticking out through the outer sheath. These will snag and eventually cause bigger problems. I can make it work until then, but it is some of the cheapest feeling line with a loose weave I have ever handled. If it fails I would not replace it. Using my own carabiners (was always my plan), the included one was pretty much garbage and went in the trash. Don't expect much for the price.

This rope doesnt float anywhere near enough to claim this is a "floating rope". this is no better then typical nylon rope.

Inside the sheath are two smaller braids, side-by-side. Forget about normal double-braid splices. Otherwise seems like good rope.

This line snapped when my daughter used it for a bow line on a small Opti Sailboat.

Used it to tie kayaks to our sailboat while on mooring. Floating line keeps it from getting tangled in the motor which is nice but the color faded after about a week. carabiner is cheap and a pain because the screw closure doesn't stay open. Really should just have a standard clip

The rope and the carabiner are thinner than expected but seem strong
