Reliable and strong
I'm trying to get more into fitness, and this was the first pull up bar I've ever ordered. Now with that being said I couldn't be happier. The instructions and item are very easy to assemble, and so far im loving it. My current weight is 180 and the bar has no issue in the slightest. No marks, no damage on the roof of the door, nothing. However when building follow the instructions clear to ensure item strength and durability for your safety. 10/10 item

Not designed to fit many door frames. Beware!
Be sure to measure your door trim before ordering one of these. Low in the item description it says "Acceptable trim height up to 3.75". It could have been designed to fit a wider range of door configurations. It could not be made to fit any of the doorways in my house, and I didn't feel good about trying to return it after assembling it. The seller said they'll refund my purchase though, so I give it 4 stars for good service and caring about the customer's experience. It's strong enough for what it's meant for, though not necessarily the most stable configuration out of the box. I'd recommend using the included safety components to make sure yours doesn't slip unexpectedly.

Sturdy pull up bar
I bought the Ally Peaks Pull Up Bar for my teenage son so he could have a simple way to get some upper body workouts in at home, and it’s been great. He uses it almost every day for pull-ups and chin-ups, and it’s holding up really well. It feels super sturdy once mounted on the doorway and doesn’t shift or wobble during use.The setup was really easy—no screws or drilling, which I appreciate. He can even take it down and put it back up himself in a matter of seconds. We also like that it doesn’t leave any marks on the door frame. What makes it even better is that it has different grip positions, so he can switch things up in his routine. It’s a simple, affordable way for him to stay active without needing a big home gym setup.Definitely recommend this if you’ve got a growing kid or teen who’s into fitness—it’s convenient, solid, and doesn’t take up any space.

I would recommend 100% for the price but it does have a few short coming.
Pro:-It good value-It's sturdy so long as you put use the right hole for your door-Simple to assembleCon:-It stand 6' 3" on the door frame, even if you were shorter then the average man, when you reach up its too short for full range of motion. You have to be awkwardly bend the knee and make use of assisted band hard but on the flip side its a bit easier. It would also be hard to overload with weights.-The neutral grip bar is where you would want to do normal chin ups or pull ups so your stuck with the wide grip or narrow grip.Still, a cheap barbell set, this pull up bar, squats, and push up you will hit most of the muscle group and save the commute to and from the gym. Its very handy for dead hangs and the convenience factor helps you maintain a regular workout schedule. You don't really lose much for the price and it doubles as a push up parralet.

Not bad for the money minus a couple of design flaws
The major oversight is in the instruction manual to place the pull up bar below the 2 elbow bars instead of on top of them. By placing the main bar on top it solves the problem that many have an issue with - breaking the bolt heads that hold the pull up bar in place. Placing the main bar on top of the elbow pieces helps with a better weight distribution. Check the attached pictures. The second flaw is the flimsy connection of two half bars in the middle. If the company cannot afford to make one piece instead of 2 pieces, at least provide some sort of threaded ends for both pieces for a more reliable screw-in connection. I have seen recently a redesign where the connection between two pieces lines up with the bolts attached to the elbow bars (see the attached picture with highlights). It looks like that may be a different approach for a more secure connection that the current design. Another minor problem is the location of the foam grips, but that can be improved by forcibly moving the grips along the bar to a desired spot. Again, you can see on the attached photos the new location for the foam pads that in my opinion may be more suited for the average size person. Once I have done the modifications mentioned above I am less concerned with the overall safety of this product.

Does it's Job
No criticisms on my end. Just know this will leave indentations on your doorway trim/wall where the sidebars rest on the outside of the door frame.
