This camera is the perfect security camera to protect your house. It is easy to set up it took less than an hour to hang it up and set it up. The steps to follow were easy and simple too and I'm not a very tech minded person. The quality of the camera is brilliant it's very clear I was actually pretty amazed at how clear the picture quality is. Especially at night time the night vision is insane. Admittedly we have Christmas lights up at the moment so it looks like day time but even away from the lights the night vision is still so clear and not blurry at all. The audio is incredible too you can hear everything as clear as day. It's so simple to use too you just download their app and you can view the security camera live wherever you are which is brilliant. You can also talk through it if your not home and you see someone at your door you can still chat to them. You can also have set times for it to record for when your going out or going away for extra security. Overall for the price I think it's well worth it, you definitely get your moneys worth I'm so chuffed with my purchase that we're going to have to buy another one for the back of the house too.

Very impressed with this camera, is very good for the quality of picture, zoom, night vision and detection.Easy to setup an has great ) in the app for mobile and computer.Can set up motion tracking and alerts.Night vision is clear and good zoom.can also pre-set locations to quickly reposition the camera direction.You need an SD card to record and replay (starts a few second before the event triggering the alarm! that's excellent)Customer support is also great, quick response.I already have 2 and recommend it(Only one thing could be improved is the manual, too short and it is shameful as a lot of existing and practical features are not in this small book)

I have been using this camera for a couple weeks now and it’s definitely met my expectations. Living in an area with increasing crime I was worried about my home so decided to look at some options on amazon. I picked this one due to the ability to control it from my phone rather than use complicated wiring.Positives:- Easy to install with some basic DIY knowledge- Good night vision- Build quality seems excellent- Picture quality is excellent- Everything you need is in the box- Instructions are clear unlike some cheap products- The light does a good job illuminating an areaNegatives:- Sometimes you have to manually adjust focus when you zoom in- Motion tracking could be a bit faster but it isn’t badThe camera comes well packaged and with all the accessories you’ll need (See the photo attached) as you would expect from a quality camera.The camera is easy to set up, just make sure you either have an existing electrical connection or a plug nearby. I have mine mounted outside and plugged in the bedroom. Then just download the CTRONICS app and follow the setup steps.There are a few setting you can adjust - the zoom, tracking (follow human movement) and colour/lights. Overall I’m happy with the night vision and you are able to see passers by easily.In summary; just make sure you have a good WiFi connection otherwise the video quality will be low and you’ll experience a lag. Other than that I would definitely recommend without hesitation.

I installed this a couple of day ago to replace my 3 year old ieGeek camera. It was quite easy to connected wirelessly to my broadband and to set-up, due to the fact that I have some previous experience with security cameras. Initially it did occasionally lose the wireless connection, but this seems to have settled down now. One criticism is that the User Manual is not well written and explicit, (as are most manuals for Chinese products). A major omission from the manual is that it does not tell you where or how to insert the SD memory card, which is not supplied with the camera. CTRONICS PLEASE NOTE. You also really need a magnifying glass to read the manual, but it can be downloaded on-line. The video quality is very good, much better than my ieGeek, especially at night, but I have found that movement on the recorded video is very jerky. I have tried adjusting the frame and bit rate to improve this but the camera seems to reset these variables to the default settings. I am also somewhat disappointed with the software. The PC software is HiP2P Client which has to be downloaded off the net, and does not appear to have been improved much since I bought the ieGeek camera 3 years ago. There are numerous settings in this software which again are not well explained in the manual, and rather than this software being specifically written for ctronics cameras, it is generic software supplied by a whole range of camera manufacturers. The CTRONICS App does not seem too bad but again movement is very jerky on recorded video and so far I been unable to fix this problem. To date I have not been able to access how good the Automatic Tracking function performs. I will report on this at a later date, and also say if I have found a solution to the jerkiness of the video playback, and perhaps modify my ratings.Updated review after 2 month usage - The first camera lost it's wireless connection to my router after about 2 weeks use,so It was returned to Amazon and an identical replacement purchased. The second camera still exhibited the jerky video playback problem, (which can be overcome by downloading the file from the SD card and replaying it on a PC using video playback software.) However after a few weeks use I found this camera also started to lose its wireless connection with my router, and it was necessary to go through the setup procedure again to reconnect it. I found it was necessary to do this 2 or 3 times a day so I am now in the process of returning this camera to Amazon and buying one from a different manufacturer. A security camera is no use if it continually loses its wireless connection! NOTE - I have emailed Ctronics Technical Support several times about these problems and NEVER received a reply, so it appears their Technical Support is not existent! I have revised my Overall rating from 4 to 1 stars.

Meine Meinung zu den Kameras von Ctronics:Die Preise sind angemessen für die Kameras von Ctronics. Ich habe kein Vorwissen von anderen Kameras, dadurch habe ich keinen Vergleich. Die Bildqualität hat mich sehr überrascht. Sie ist sehr Hochauflösend und auch die Nachtsicht finde ich spitze. Die Einrichtung war mit der Anleitung. Für den Anbau ist alles beigelegt und auch ein kurzes Lan-Kabel ist vorhanden. Ich habe erst eine Kamera "getestet", da der Preis sehr gut war. Danach habe ich mir noch ein paar andere Kameras von Ctronics gekauft. Alle Kameras laufen ohne Probleme seit fast einem Jahr. Ich habe einmal den Support anfragen müssen, stellte sich aber dann heraus das die Kamera keinen Fehler hat und es an meinem Netzwerk lag. Der Support hat mir trotzdem sehr gut geholfen und dadurch mich auf die Lösung des Problems gebracht. Die Kommunikation mit dem Support lief erst über den Chat auf der Website und dann per Email. Alles auf englisch mit Bildern und Videos als Beschreibung. Ich habe allen neugierigen bis jetzt Ctronics empfohlen und bei der Einrichtung geholfen. Es hat noch niemand Probleme und alle sind meistens überrascht das man solche Kameras für so einen Preis bekommt. Alles in allem bin ich voll zufrieden und empfehle Ctronics weiterhin. Acquistata in sostituzione di un'altra cam (nativa POE).Pro:- Ottime immagini diurne;- ottime immagini notturne nella modalità "HD", buona in quella "SD";- Audio in ricezione discreto, in trasmissione molto buono;- Facilità installazione;- Ottimo manuale in lingua italiana ben tradotto ed esaustivo.Contro:- No POE Nativo - non prende l'alimentazione direttamente dal connettore LAN RJ45 - necessita di uno splitter passivo per alimentarla, (vedi foto allegata) disponevo già di un POE che utilizzava il solo cavo LAN per veicolare sia il segnale audio/video che l'alimentazione (12 Volt). Ora sono stato obbligato ad acquistare la coppia di splitter della foto per farla funzionare aggiungendo un ulteriore dispositivo lungo il percorso.- Brandeggio cam con App da cellulare tramite "trascinamento" se si utilizzano App di terze parti, come faccio io, ho verificato che èpossibile solo visionare l'inquadratura del momento senza poter intervenire in alcun modo;- Manca una dima in carta per poter riportare correttamente sulla parete i fori ( piccolo, ma utile, plus).Conclusione:Ottimo apparecchio in generale dall'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, manuale esaustivo in lingua italiana ben tradotto.Non mi esprimo sui materiali e la loro resistenza al sole e al gelo (plastica sia lo chassì che la staffa di fissaggio al muro...), qualità costruttiva comunque buona.Peccato non sia POE nativa, sono rimasto deluso e costretto per questo ad acquistare lo splitter passivo di cui sopra per poterla utilizzare.4 stelle per questa piccola mancanza, non specificata nella pagina del prodotto, mi avrebbe forse fatto riflettere di più sull'acquisto.Nota: Il venditore mi ha risposto prontamente alla richiesta di chiarimenti in merito, anche con l'invio di una foto di un dispositivo POE compatibile, purtroppo non ho realizzato subito la caratteristica dell'oggetto, non conoscendo le varie tipologie di tecnologie POE.Aggiornamento: dopo oltre un anno di funzionamento perfetto si è scollegata dalla LAN, pur continuando ad attivarsi attraverso il sensore di movimento.L'assistenza on-line è stata pronta a cercare di risolvere il problema, provando tutte le possibili soluzioni.Purtroppo non potendo risolvere hanno disposto la sostituzione del dispositivo.Un plauso per l'efficienza del supporto e la disponibilità dimostrata!
