Kyolic Kyo-Dophilus Daily Probiotic, 180 Capsules

I have been using this probiotic for over 15 years and it’s the only one that I will buy. I have a dairy allergy and this probiotic does not contain any dairy. I also have a very sensitive stomach and digestive tract and these probiotics are effective, but gentle.

This is the first probiotic that didn't actually make me feel worse. After just a few days of taking this product with very specifically designed strains, I felt my digestive system very quickly started to calm down. I had been gassy and bloated after having been put on oral steroids many months ago...I had been walking around with a headache non stop and it was dragging on even with all the other probiotics and different digestive enzymes that I kept trying....I know steroids can seriously damage gut flora...but no amount of good bacteria could get rid of the negative effects of now having a leaky gut....I tried more expensive probiotic formulas....many with stronger and more comprehensive strains of good bacteria but they were not targeting my real problem. A drug damaged my gut and I had to figure out what would restore it.....I bought this product on a whim after reading so many good reviews. I love this brand...I take Kyolic garlic formulas...And decided to put all my other probiotics far out of reach and just try this....So after using this one formula for a few days...one pill in the AM before breakfast suddenly, I was improving...Far less gas and bloat...I wasn't sure how many pills I'd need before I could see any big results...but it's only three days....On the third morning I woke up feeling so much better...I didn't do anything else but stop my other probiotics to try just this...It's just feels perfect! I'm so relieved to learn I didn't need to take more complicated strains of probiotics....I actually needed less...and I needed the right strains for my obviously stubborn imbalanced gut flora. Really glad I trusted the reviewers here...I finally found something really effective!

As a matter of fact, I have been feeling horrible for the last week! I have heard you can have something called a "herxheimer reaction" when for example too much bacteria or yeast die off in your gut too quickly. Then you get these awful "die off" symptoms which are bloating, heartburn, gas, and just general malaise. What I've recently read says that if you reach this stage you are on the road to wellness. I just hope I can hold on that long. I am currently taking one pill per day, all I can tolerate. I used to take this product religiously until 3 yrs ago. When money started getting tight I let a lot of items go, unfortunately I should have kept this one. I took probiotics daily since the mid 90's and never had stomach trouble like this. If I had been shopping at Amazon back then, I never would've stopped b/c they are very affordable here. Guess, my gut has gotten out of whack not to mention my diet took a turn for the worse due to the economy. I'll update my later progress. ***UPDATE*** It's been 3 1/2 weeks and I feel better even better than I did before I got back on this probiotic. Other family members have had trouble digesting certain meals lately and I've had no trouble whatsoever. I also sleep better now without all that blocked gas which was so uncomfortable. If you have side effects in the beginning, stick with it b/c it is worth it. I still only take one a day b/c that is enough for me and dosage I took previously of this product. I take it with good size meal and lots of water.
