Ha un inglese un po' ricercato (o tecnico?), non capisco un bel po' di parole. Comunque è una leggenda. Descrive la sua vita, il suo modo di pensare e di affrontare la vita e le difficoltà. Che mi ha colpito in particolare è la sua personale rappresentazione della sofferenza, che invece di essere vista come qualcosa che può distruggerti, viene vissuta come una forza i grado di forgiarti, di renderti integro e di farti conoscere te stesso e le tue risorse nascoste. È affascinante... anche se tradurre in pratica non è così facile. Lui "ha qualcosa", e questo libro aiuta a vedere quel qualcosa. Viverlo però è un altro paio di maniche secondo me.

Wonderful book, both my son and I have read it and it’s very informative interesting and influential. David Goggins is a Superman of modern day.

It ain't the bible, it isn't a perfect book; just like the very flawed author behind it. But that's what makes it good. Goggins actually confesses about a lot of his flaws in this book to resonate with the millions of us reading this book. Everyone's suffering somewhat. Keep Going. Don't harden your heart. Pray. Eventually, you will get through it. Even then, Keep Going. There's always someone else potentially looking up to you; and the last thing the author wants you to be is to "be civilized". There's no finish line and do recognize it's a beautiful thing. God bless you all.
