Q: Has anyone used this in a mug of boiling water? I would like good coffee while camping.

We appreciate your question. Our ESE Pods are designed to be inserted into an E.S.E.-compatible espresso machine to provide a rich, robust 1-ounce espresso shot in less than 30 seconds. Q: I have a DeLonghi machine and it works with these pods, but the machine takes twice as long with the pods and working harder

I don’t k ow what the question is but I had a DeLonghi machine as well when I used these. The best thing I did was get rid of that machine and buy a super automatic espresso machine. It was almost $1000 but worth every penny.

Q: What is expiration date? You can get that info on Ebay, not on Amazon and no return?? Pics please.

I have purchased these pods for about two years, and it has 100% been my experience that I only purchase the Illy ESE pods that are sold and shipped by Amazon, and that when the price is at or close to full price, the dates reflect a fresher product. I have also purchased these pods sold/shipped by Amazon with a sale price, and those pods were closer to the expiration date. It should also be noted that as the Illy ESE pods are foil sealed, even if you were receiving boxes close to date, they are still amazingly fresh. Note that there are two dates on the box, a production date, and a freshness date.
