Bob MarleyEvery Little Thing: Based on the song 'Three Birds' by Bob Marley

I bought this expecting the words of the book to be the lyrics of the song, but they have been changed to fit into the story. To me, this is really disappointing, as I wanted to sing the song while reading the book. The pictures in the book are decent enough and the story is fine, but it's just not what I would have expected from a Bob Marley songbook named "Every Little Thing"! I find the tune quite difficult to catch without the actual lyrics, so, for me, this was a total waste of money. What's the point of basing the book on Bob Marley's song without the actual song?

I purchased this book because after reading a few regular books with my daughter I like to end on a book that I can sing along with. Unfortunately this book does not replicate the original song in the manner that similar books do and only uses them at the start and end. I wouldn't mind that so much, apart from the fact that the new words created for the book don't really follow the same rhythm or contain the same amount of syllables as the actual words, making it quite tough to sing using the song's melody.So for the reasons above, if you are thinking of getting this book to sing along with, I recommend spending your money on the vastly superior 'What a Wonderful World' and 'Imagine' books, which I own and love. In retrospect I wish I had gone with either 'Blowin' In the Wind' or 'Coat of Many Colors'.

Who doesn't love a bit of bob Marley, I love this book, super sweet and I love how they've turned this song into a kids book - super cute. Loved adding to my little boys collection of books! ;)

once more i brought this book in 2022 and it was for a child this time a young girl and although i did not see the smile it must have brought. based on the song see looked up the song so i hear and smiled.

This book based on three little birds by Bob Marley is absolutely fantastic!!!!The quality is amazing with bright clear illustrations and it is so uplifting and positive I highly recommend you buy this to share!!
