My Le Creuset Salt/Pepper Mills in Flame just arrived. I was impressed from the moment I removed them from their box. Shiny and beautiful, nice weight. Who cares if they are plastic. It's hefty plastic. They are a real wow. The reviews scared me away for a few weeks, but when Molly Yeh on the TV show, "Girl Meets Farm"/ Food Network, lifted her Le Creuset Flame mill to grind pepper, I said, "that's the one for me!!"
