Gorgeous green option.
These work flawlessly in my Brother MFC 7860 DW multifunction laser printer. The color is "natural," definitely tan as opposed to ivory or off-white, which I find less glaring on the eye but may not suit every occasion/purpose. Think of a lighter, more refined craft paper with a smoother - almost silky - surface. I find myself seeking out opportunities to copy and print just to use this paper, and rollerball ink pens mark beautifully on each sheet (bleeding/smearing comparable to normal tree paper). Plus, I am no longer wracked with eco-guilt every time I print something since bagasse is considered a waste/manufacturing byproduct! This will last me awhile, but when the time comes I'm sure I'll repurchase. My inner treehugger is pleased.

Paper is tan colored
I guess I didn't notice, but I assumed the paper here was still white. It's light brown. Ugh. Now, I have a whole ream to get through before I can buy white paper.

This paper curls a lot when used in a laser printer. I don't mind the color at all - it's a brownish-beige - but the curling is an annoyance that will keep me from buying this paper again.

No longer imported
The off-white color was evidently too off-putting for US consumers, so TreeZero now only imports bleached bagasse papers. It's still manufactured by Propal in Colombia, but currently only sold in Latin America under the Reprograf Natural brand. A similar paper is also produced by Ledesma in Argentina, and is available in the US. Alas, I just discovered this great stuff -- it's smooth, holds both ink and toner well, is slightly lighter than 20#, and has a distinctive parchment look.

LOVE IT!
LOVE IT!!! High quality and the color is subtle and a nice change from bright white. Works well in printers and no issues with paper jams. This is my second time buying 10 ream box--I'll never go back to regular tree paper. An incredible alternative and so good for the environment. Ever little bit helps Mother Earth and we all need to do our part.

GREAT paper - turning waste/garbage into useable product, but it's 19.1 lb, not 20 lb
It is very important to me that I make choices that are good for the environment, and learning about unbleached/tree free paper was a light-bulb moment. Easy choice to make, where the paper might be a slightly different color than traditional bleached paper (but no so much any of my students ever noticed), and tree free paper is often made from waste products - like sugar cane husk paper, where the husk is otherwise just garbage that needs to be disposed of!!I had a number of reams of the Walgreens Ology Tree Free paper, and my boyfriend used ALL of it for a project, I don't really understand what it is that he needs to do, but he tries hard to be environmentally conscious (I rubbed off), so I trust it was needed. So I needed more paper, and Walgreens doesn't sell theirs anymore. I did some searching on Amazon, and liked that this used sugarcane by-product (something that would otherwise be garbage), and that it was suitable for ink and laserjet printers (my dad has a laserjet - though apparently he likes heavier weight paper). My previous tree free paper was a light grey, where this is more of a light oatmeal (no color issue for me), and I've printed B&W and color on this with no issue. My boyfriend has used this paper in his printer, and found it to be lovely as well. I think this was a great choice for our house. While ideally I would have bought just 1 ream, 10 reams should last us a while. While it is a little pricey, I was paying 5.99 for stuff down the street, and this was shipped to my house for free, and it would have cost more than $15 to ship to me, so I think that the price ends up feeling reasonable. I have also seen tree free paper on Amazon for way more, so I might have been lucky for the price I used to pay, and I think as demand increases for tree free paper, price will decrease. The only downside is that it is not 20 lb paper as stated, but 19.1. It's not an issue for me, but for people who need/prefer heavier weight papers (my dad likes 22 lb), this .9 lb difference might matter.

Product Clarification
Understand that this paper is in fact BROWN, it is not white. It's fine to use internally, or for things that do not need to be sent to look professional.

Great paper
Love this paper, it's smooth, chemical free, and made from a material that would otherwise be wasted! What more could you want? The color is definitely not white, so if that bothers you, stay away. However, I've turned in important documents using this paper, made handouts for meetings, and no one has been upset by its color. In fact, people have told me they really like this paper (including professors). Just my take away. I don't think that folks will get mad or think this paper is unprofessional.
