why is this not suitable for kids? is it the content?

Depends on the age of the kid. Some of the acting and singing challenges younger kids wouldn't be able to guess or know how to perform. It's not unsuitable as in bad, but includes knowing movies, people, and songs that even I (26) don't always know. I think Cadoo is supposed to be similar but easier for younger ones
