It works if you want to transfer from pc to pc
If you dont mind messing with some IPs to connect to computers this is a great option. Especially if you can't find your old router. Alternatively you could make your own cross over cables, but if you had the tools you probably wouldn't be look at this. Works great for its purpose and its red so you can easily remember this is the cross over cable.

Crossover cables for Medical use.
These cords are used to connect our ultrasound machines to the laptops we use to send images. They do what they are supposed to, and the red helps us keep track of them.

Exactly what I needed. Finally something that I just needed to plug in to the computers to get them to communicate - no disk, no setup, no headache. It plugged right in.... and worked! The price is right, and it did exactly what was needed. Thank you!

Works Fine
What can you say about a crossover cable? It works and the price was OK. The quality is reasonable. No issues and I would buy this product again.

The cable does it job flawlessly
I used this cable for a networking project where we had to link between two Linux systems and it worked fantastically. Never once did the cable fail to work. It gave us a consistent throughput and the length was more than enough for what we did in a small room. The 10-feet should also be a great gift for the college student that needs wired connection in the dormitories.

Great Cable
I bought this cable to try and get my chinese laser engraver working, but discovered that I could not get it to work with this cable. My bad. Cable appears to be of good quality, and I love the color.

Belkin being a top brand, you don't even get boots with this XOVER cable
I'm really surprised that belkin, being a top brand, would send a crossover cable that doesn't even have boots on the connectors. As noted in the pictures, this cable doesn't resemble the advertised picture. In the future I will build my own crossover cable, and it will be built properly. These clips are going to break off in no time, and the 8+ dollars that I spent we'll go down the drain. I'm really disappointed in Belkin. If they were smart, they would send me another cable with boots on the connectors, and I would be willing to modify this review.

Does the job
Been using this for several months now, to connect my modem and router. No problems whatsoever. Just the length I needed, and the color distinguishes it from my other cables - which is good, since I live with a web of computer related cables. I have always had good luck with Belkin products.
