I decided to install my first pocket door and one thing I quickly discovered after tearing into the wall and buying a slab door was the need to make some jigs and rout for the handle and pull hardware. Despite my collection of over 36 router bits, a number of which I have never used, I didn't have any of these - flush bits with a guide wheel at the shank instead of the tip. This turns out a perfect collection for pocket door hardware, and the assorted sizes - I thought them a little overkill - turned out to be a godsend as I used three or them for this one small project. I did a couple of test cuts on scrap and it's a good thing I did, just to get used to using these for two depths (shallow on the outside and deep on the inside). To my surprise, I found it better to cut the smaller, deeper cuts first so I could get a better site on clamping my jig for the next wider, shallow cuts. These came sharp sharp, each in a nice and secure little clear case. Deep shanks for good purchase. No idea how long they will last but for this first project, much better suited for my task than I realized when placing the order. Very satisfied!

These bits arrived nicely packaged in their own little plastic tubes and then within a cardboard box. They even supplied several extra replacement bearings and set screws with the set. The bits themselves look to be well made. I have not had the time to actually use them yet, but see no reason why they wont preform as hoped. For occasional amateur woodworking, these will do just fine Update...I have been using these router bits in my cordless 1/4 inch router for a few weeks. They work very well. They seem sharp and accurate and cut through hard maple and cherry with littke effort. These are a real bargain.

They are not bad for the money, BUT, my first cut with these was on a small piece of maple, routing out a 3" circle. In 30 seconds the bit broke on the bottom edge. I just used a longer one and adjusted the router to finish, but they should not break cutting 1/4" into maple. Amazon/seller replaced the set, but common man!

If you don’t really know which size bit that you really need, then it’s hard to go wrong with this set. You’ll figure it out, then you can invest in a more durable bit that’s made in the USA.

The 1 inch bit broke (cutting edge broke off) while using it lightly at low speed. Not impressed. The smaller bit is working so far.

Well this is the first time I've ever had a broken router bit like this. First pass through on soft pine, didn't even hit a knot. Destroyed the work piece along with it; nearly threw the router from my hand. Scary and disappointing moment. Don't think I'll even bother trying the other bits with this set. Tread lightly using these. Was removing between 1/16" and 1/8" material from a test piece of pine for a table base and it wound up destroying my template and test piece. Please people, just be very careful moving forward. Who knows where that piece of shrapnel wound up, I'm just very grateful it didn't hit me.

I needed to install an under mount sink on a butcher block countertop. And to finish the cut Perfect, I made a jig, and the Cut could not have been a cleaner cut. Really finished the project off perfect.
