Perfect Cookie Monster Blue
I needed a deep blue for my toddler's Cookie Monster costume made from a furry polyester fabric. This one worked perfectly, and I'm completely happy with the color. The label warns of a strong odor, but I didn't notice anything during the dying process. It did leave traces of blue in the stockpot that I used, so I'll have to retire that pot from cooking. Needing to stir for nearly an hour was a pain, but the result was definitely worthwhile. Clean up was pretty easy - I just poured the water down the drain and rinsed the sink. There were some splatters of blue on my stove, but those wiped up easily and didn't leave any stains.

Was exactly what I ordered.

Yes, it dyes polyester
I overdyed a red jacket made of several different types of fabric. The iDye Poly gave a pretty dark color (I did enamel pot on a hot plate and stirred it for not quite half an hour). It came out too dark. I should have dyed it for less time or chosen a different color. I would use this product again.

This worked MUCH better than I expected
This worked MUCH better than I expected. Having tried both Rit and Jacquard acid dye on a swimsuit with absolutely no effect, getting this to finally work was such a relief. I kept it on the stove for over an hour, and the color seemed to stop deepening past about an hour.

and much better than a better known brand I previously tried
This stuff actually works, and much better than a better known brand I previously tried. The color is perfect!

Did not cover my polyester dress very well at all.

Best dye I have ever used!
I used to use RIT dye and I would let my disc golf discs sit in it over night I-dye poly dyes in 60 seconds and the colors are so much more vibrant!!

disliked the color
I used blue and it truned my cream colored curtains a light purple... hate the color. But to be honest they are a synthetic fabric, so not sure if it should have worked on that.
