Stable, Quick, Simple
If you're in need of a switch because you don't have enough LAN ports on your router, this is the perfect solution for a cheap price. Supports PoE, made of metal, and works incredibly well out of the box to allow bridging my devices together.

This little unit is doing its job, not slowing the cat six down

Excellent ethernet switch!
But why did I choose this one that's just over $40 (at the time of this review), over others that are like $20, or even $15? Well, the main reason that I chose this one, is because of what I read in reviews. Which is that, the cheap ones tend to run a little warm, or even hot, while this one never runs warm or hot. And I'm happy to report that those claims have proven to be true so far, for my experience with this switch. The other reason that I chose this switch, is because the last one that I had WAS a much cheaper one, and it only lasted about a year before it just completely stopped working. It constantly ran a little warm as well. And so, I am definitely satisfied with this Cisco 5 Port Switch.

Works as intended
Easy plug and play, gives me full speed (~400Mbps on my internet subscription, so I cant test the upper limits). I’m basically using it to extend wired connectivity to my gaming consoles and TV without using up all the LAN ports on my router. Nothing special or fancy. It’s not managed so if you’re looking for VLAN support this isnt for you. I also thought it was POE+ enabled but that’s another (more expensive) model, so read more carefully than I did.

Works great
Got it because I only have 1 wall outlet for internet but 3 devices. Works great, I don't notice any loss over 3 devices.

No Power not even a year in
Not even 1 Year in and no power to the unit. Very disappointing. Started off a week ago dropping ethernet connections and woke up today and no power. Thought this was business class? Cisco do better.

I don’t know if it will last longer than the two much cheaper TP-Link TL-SG105s ...
... that failed after two years but this Cisco switch runs cool to the touch where the TP-Link switches always ran warm or hot when under load.
