Is it possible to place pencil in holder with round side facing iPad magnetic strip so it doesn't charge? Worried about overcharging pencil.

You can... but I wouldn’t. The case is great, I love it, but the material surrounding the edges does not “hug” the device as much as I’d like it to; and the magnetic pull to the pencil ensures that it stays in place. I wouldn’t be too worried about the battery on the pencil, it should be fine

It is heavy BUT my husband has dropped his tablet several times and this case has protected the tablet. I recommend it highly.
