Ich liebe dieses Kochbuch. Tolle schnelle Rezepte, schöne bunte Mischung, für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Und das beste die zutaten sind sehr viel gesünder als bei manch anderen Rezepten. Ich liebe die Frühstücks-muffins. Ich backe sie auf Vorrat und friere sie ein - so habe ich jeden tag ein gesundes Frühstück. Und auch wenn die Portionen klein wirken so sind sie durch die zutaten sehr sättigend. I love this cookbook. Great quick recipes, a colorful mix for every taste. And the great thing is that all the ingredients are much healthier than in normal recipes. I love the breakfast muffins. I bake them and freeze them so I have a yummy and healthy breakfast every day. And although the amounts seem a bit small they are very filling!

This book is quite sensible. Jillian offers alternative ingredients for recipes (if you are not able to afford meat for instance) and she digs into some basic knowledge (and not too much of it) of foods that provide good health for men and women. Excellent recipes!

I did Jillian Michael's 90 Day Body Revolution program and ended up losing 45 pounds. The thing that hooked me into the program was the food. I'm a real foodie. I didn't get fat eating chips and drinking sodas. I got fat eating really good food, just too much of it. When I started the program and started cooking the recipes, I was excited because the food was Great -- not just good. And the recipes were interesting and intriguing. The recipes in Body Revolution are a subset of the ones in this cookbook, so after about 30 days I purchased this cookbook to have more options while I did the program. There are lots of recipes to pique a foodie's interest and make you excited about trying a recipe. Things like lamb kebabs where the lamb is rubbed with cocoa, cinnamon and thyme and an incredible roasted salmon with a pumpkin seed, cumin seed and cardamom crust (it's worth buying the book for this one recipe). I'd never really eaten barley before this cookbook and now I absolutely love it. There's a recipe for a barley soup with shitake mushrooms and chicken sausage that's just phenomenal. The Golden Gazpacho is unbelievable and the almond-crusted chicken breasts have become a weekly staple for us since they're so easy and good. I could go on and on talking about individual recipes. It's really not fair to label this cookbook as a "diet" cookbook, which conjures up thoughts of bland food. This is Great Food which happens to be healthy. I'll continue to use this cookbook weekly long after my Body Revolution experience is over. I can't recommend this cookbook highly enough.

I love Jillian Michaels and this book is great there are some lovely recipes which aren't too hard to make and the suggestions for changing foods in your diet are really helpful. I have used applesauce instead of butter in cakes and they have turned out great. Also been using almond butter which is lovely. Only prob with it is all in american cups sizes so have to work out the imperial or metric weights.

Das Kochbuch ist übersichtlich gestaltet und die Rezepte sind leicht und schnell nachzukochen. Bei jedem Rezept steht der "Health Benefit" dabei und so findet man sich sehr leicht zurecht. In der Einleitung wird ausführlich auf das Thema Ernährung und Metabolismus eingegangen. Super Buch...
