Sturdy & Well Built-Great Purchase
So sturdy and well built! Well worth the few extra dollars to get this version. Easy to set up and take down. Thick, sturdy legs. Have used ours several times and it still looks new. Great purchase!

Great Canopy Under Proper Use!
I’ve had this canopy for three years now, but have only used it once or twice. The forecast was predicting some hot, sunny days for a week. So I decided to start getting my money’s worth out of the purchase. I set it up on my back paver patio. I had read reviews where people claimed to have left their canopy up for weeks or months without issue. So I decided I’d leave it up for at least a few days. During the day of the attached video, I checked the weather app to make sure there weren’t any unexpected changes in the weather. Still no mention of rain. All seemed fine during the bright, sunny morning and early afternoon. But later in the afternoon, I noticed some light rain. While I was surprised by the development, I decided it would be a nice opportunity to check the waterproofing of the canopy. I sat under the canopy and was quite satisfied by how it was handling the light rain. Even as the rain picked up, I felt at ease. But after a few minutes, some strong gusts of wind began coming through. I thought about taking the canopy down, but I felt the best immediate course of action was to stand beneath the center and hold the frame steady. It was showing clear signs of strain. The gusts became so steady and with increasing intensity that I continued feeling uncomfortable about letting go and trying to take the canopy down. My support was probably the only thing keeping my canopy from becoming a heap of mangled metal. I had been through that before. Fortunately, along with my 200 pounds holding in the center, I had sandbags on each corner along with two bungee tie downs on each corner. For about 20 minutes, which felt like an eternity, I held on and prayed until a brief calm allowed me to take down the canopy. After that brief calm, some heavier gusts came through that would have surely destroyed my canopy. Just hours before this ordeal, I had received two additional sidewalls that I had ordered to go along with the two I had purchased before. I had a full set up that I hoped to enjoy for the summer. What a shame it would have been to see it destroyed. Well, the next day I inspected the frame. I feared that I would find cracks in the plastic connectors or bends in the frame. To my surprise, all was in order. Thankfully, it was a lesson that didn’t have to come with a huge cost or loss. I think I will be a bit more selective about when to use the canopy. These sudden, violent and unforeseen storms are happening with more frequency. So I’ll likely reserve the canopy for gatherings and events. At least then, I’ll have assistance to quickly take the canopy down if needed. In the meantime, I’ll use my large umbrella for patio shade on a regular basis. In any case, this canopy took a beating and held its own. But no matter how well constructed these mobile canopies are, they can only withstand so much. If any element, me, the sandbags or the tie downs had been missing, it would have been game over. The canopy isn’t meant to withstand those types of winds anyway. So if you’re looking for a sturdy canopy to be used under reasonable conditions, this one is well worth it. It’s even cheaper now than when I bought mine. Hopefully, the quality is still the same.

Excellent canopy -good quality and easy to set up
Owned a few of the cheaper canopies - this one is way superior. The frame is very well built and opens and closes with ease. The fabric of the canopy is heavy and fits like a glove. Will definitely purchase again if we need another or when we replace

Excellent Canopy, but beware the supplier "#1 Instant Shelter" is cutting corners.
First, I'll start by saying this canopy is excellent. I don't believe there is a better canopy on the market for the price. If you need something very lightweight and not very heavy duty, then look elsewhere. If you want something that will actually last, built on a true steel frame, get this canopy. I've done festivals, trade-shows, and outdoor markets of all kinds for the better part a year under this canopy, with an average use rate of three days per week. I often feel bad for many other canopy users, because their canopies limit them so severely. Your canopy is the bedrock of your setup, it supports your banners, your windwalls, your lights, and anything else you might need, and it does it all while resisting the elements. If you build your foundation on lightweight aluminum, then you haven't accounted for all the other factors in addition to Murphy's Law. I would advise everyone to get this canopy unless they are under a festival ordnance that requires another tent for uniformity purposes (very rare, but I've seen this happen, IMO this SHOULD be the tent required in those circumstances). This frame will withstand high winds with large banners and signed attached to it, each leg supports two proper stakes, and the wide base feet are ideal for use with weight bags. I have absolutely no trouble at all setting this up alone, and taking it down alone. I've done it probably close to 150 times. The trick is to place one corner where you want it, grab the opposite corner, lift, and stretch it into place. Once it is mostly expanded, press upward on the slider until it clicks into place, then click into place all the other corners. After that you simple lift each leg one at a time. I truly do not understand the people saying this is a difficult setup "even for two people." It's exceptionally easy for one person. Perhaps using more than one person unnecessarily complicates setup? In any case, when you take it down you do the same thing in reverse. First lower all four legs. Then unfasten the corner buttons. Grab one leg on any side, lift, and walk it toward the opposite leg. The entire tent will simply fold up. After that, bag the tent by swinging the bag behind your back, and applying it by sliding it over the top of your head onto the tent. This effectively guides the bag over the tent so that it can slide down onto the bag unhindered. The whole operation of take down or set up takes me easily less than three minutes moving at a normal pace. In addition, they do honor their manufacturer's warranty. I work mostly in Florida near the gulf, and we get very high wind gusts from time to time that can't be predicted. After six months of the harshest environment and repeated set ups and tear downs, the frame finally buckled slightly and could not fold up fully. This was a problem because it would not fit into the bag nor into our storage area for travel. They honored the one year warranty, refunded the cost, and sent a replacement. I almost felt bad because I can tell that every effort has been made for this design to be durable and affordable, and I don't like to take advantage of warranties in those circumstances if I can avoid it. However they gave absolutely no fuss. Now, with that said, understand that there are two, seemingly identical carrying bags for this canopy. My original canopy came with an incredibly heavy duty bag that looked exactly like that displayed in the images in the listings. When I received my second canopy, the bag was a complete joke. It looked identical to the original in every way, but was probably 1/5 the thickness and very poorly manufactured. It fell apart within two weeks. I'm not exaggerating. The first bag lasted six months and was still in near perfect condition, the second lasted only two weeks. The moment I received the new bag I immediately knew it was inferior quality, but I didn't realize just how bad it was until I had a chance to put it to use. So if you see reviews of some people enamored with the bag quality, and others complaining about how poor the exact same bag is, understand that it's because there are two versions of the bag. Which one you receive appears to be 100% luck of the draw. I've been looking for a way to purchase the quality version but the Amazon listing for the bag only appears to suffer the same problem - the seller called "#1 Instant Shelter" randomly distributes one version or the other, and most customers have no idea this is taking place. Shame on them for not being more transparent in this regard.

Awesome canopy. Very heavy duty.
UPDATE 5/25/24 I have been using the canopy occasionally the past two years. It is still holding strong. The rolling bag did not hold up, due to mishandling. I was inadvertently dragging the bottom side when rolling across pavement. This could have been avoided if the wheels were larger. I am 5'7" and the angle I roll at was not sufficient to clear the bag off the pavement. All in all, the canopy itself is 5 years old and still in working order. None of the trusses have failed. I am 61, and still able to put it up and take it down by myself when I have to. We have had our AbcCanopy for a month now. We have been taking it to the farmers' market every weekend. We have had a large variety of canopies over the years and this is by far the best one we have ever used. It is very sturdy, the frame is much more solid and heavier built than any we have seen. It is weighty, but I am very impressed with the quality. I don't worry about it twisting on us. My husband is disabled and uses a cane to walk. Even with his handicap, we are able to put the canopy up by ourselves. I have successfully unassembled it slowly by myself, but it is much easier with help. If you are vertically challenged, you will definitely need assistance. this set up is around 6ft tall collapsed in the very nice rolling bag. The rolling bag does work nicely, but with the weight, you have to be careful handling it. We get many compliments on our canopy, it is very impressive set up against our neighboring vendors. It stands tall against all of the others. Other vendors have commented on the quality and we have seen several replace their canopies with AbcCanopies. I do recommend getting weights for the feet. We did not successfully implement the weight bags. I have contacted the company, asking questions about sidewalls, etc. They have been extremely responsive, helping me with my upgrades. I highly recommend AbcCanopies. I have attached a photo showing our set-up. You can see the heavy trusses.

Great product, Great customer service. Highly recommend
Very sturdy and well made tent, needed some replacement parts and they were sent right away. Great customer service. This is our second ABC tent as we wanted a bigger one after our first, both are great quality and we would buy another.

Customer Service is Horrible! Don't risk it!
I purchased this canopy after going through several of the big box $39 ones. This canopy has good reviews, so I took a chance of spending more for a better and longer lasting product. Shipping was slower than other Amazon orders. It took a week for it to ship, but then arrived in good condition. The canopy is heavier duty than the cheap ones. It assembled pretty easily although the fabric top was very very tight. I suspect it will stretch and loosen over time. It seems to have good anti-radiation characteristics. Some canopy's suffer from re-radiation of the suns heat right through the fabric, this one seems to block that pretty well. Now for the bad! I left the canopy up and as luck would have it a front passed through blowing over the canopy. Two of the lateral rods that make up one of the scissor sections broke right at the center bolt hole. This seems to be a weak point for all of these canopies. I was hoping this one would be sturdier but apparently not. I would think manufacturers could recognize drilling a quarter inch hole through a half inch tube really weakens it. With that said, it was my fault for not properly anchoring the canopy. No problem! I'll order replacements. I got on the abccanopy web site and attempted to look up the part number for replacement rails. There is no model number for this canopy or anything that comes close to naming this canopy. No problem, there is a form on the web site to send emails to the company. I filled it out, clicked send, and a week later I hadn't heard anything from them. OK, maybe it got lost. I filled out the page again, clicked send, and two weeks have passed and I still haven't heard anything from them. There is no phone number on the web site. So right now I have a damaged canopy that I cannot get repair parts for. I looked at similar models that are listed on the web site and it looks like those similar parts are selling for $39 each! Are you kidding me? $78 for two rails! That's a third of the price of the entire canopy! So while the quality of this canopy is better than the typical $39 ones sold at big box stores, I am going to have to give this vendor a big thumbs down. I cannot support or recommend a vendor that has poor customer support and charges what I consider to be unreasonable prices for repair parts. I do not recommend this canopy for these reasons. There are better buys with better customer service available.

Great canopy!
I have enjoyed this canopy! The design is good, as It doesnt hold rain water like others, the bars are also super sturdy. I pair this canopy with self reeling ratchet straps and foot long twist in stakes. My setup survived 75-85mph Nebraska winds during an event. The shade it provides is very nice as well. Also very easy to fold up and out.

Easy set up!
Love it! Covers my whole deck, saving us from this heat wave, going to cover the bars inside with solar fairy lights! Edit** only lasted 3 months and the top of the canvas ripped throigh

Fantastic!
We bought this based on the reviews and are very happy with the quality! We attend several outdoor events and it holds up very well in rain and wind.

Leaking after 2nd use
This is the 2nd time using this tent and it’s already leaking. It’s sturdy but it’s not durable at all clearly. And it’s not one or two droplets as you can see. Super disappointed considering how much it is.

Well made.
While we really like this canopy, we have had to return it, only because it wasn't suitable for where we wanted to place it on our deck.
