Why didn’t I think of this?
While I’ve only had this for two weeks, it falls under the “why didn’t I think of this?” realm of ideas. The design is KISS - keep it simple, stupid. Any dumbbell becomes a kettlebell, saving you a LOT of money. So far, the durability seems fine, though I recognize this is molded plastic, so I’m gentle on the touchdown. I’ve been using it with 40 pounds and I have zero complaints. I would note that the handle of your dumbbell will influence your weight plate placement. The shorter plastic handle of my dumbbell meant I had to use eight 5# plates instead of four 10#s.

Durable Product. Would Recommend.
The product does exactly what it is described to do and works well. I was surprised at how much it was able to emulate the feel of a kettlebell. I tried the product on some thicker and thinner handles as seen in the photo and had no problems at all. I'm impressed with the sturdiness and durability of the product. Very pleased and would recommend for those desiring to make their investment in dumbbells more versatile and add a whole new set of kettlebell exercises to their workouts.

Good concept, but don’t lock well with larger weights
My gym has tons of barbells but the kettle bells only go up to 25 lbs or so. I have several specific exercises that I have been doing with individual plates, but once you get to 45 lbs, you’re out of options. So, I got this to use with my gym’s standard hex profile dumbells. I had to remove the rubber liner, and the handle was just large enough to get into place and latch closed, but when I started using it, it popped open more than once. I will say that the weight has never come out, and I never felt like the handle wasn’t sturdy enough, it’s just a really poor latch,As an engineer, I’d make the handle slightly narrower and taller and come up with a better latch mechanism, or just turn the entire handle into a clamshell design. I’d also really like to see the weight rating bump up to 100 lbs,For now, I’ll probably do what others have suggested and use a small tie down strap to help keep it latched. It’s kind of silly, but overall, it’s a pretty good design that probably works great for lighter weights. Just be aware of the limitations, if you are planning to use it for weights at the upper end of its rated range!

Works for holding some weights
This gets the job done, but note the size of the weight needed to put in it. I have 8 different weights that I tried and only one of them fit it because it is too small for most normal Dumbbells. Other small issue is that is has a rough back that if you are doing any kind of swings with it and it rotates in your hand, it will rub your hand, solution is to hold it steady and not let it rotate, but that is difficult if it is a heavier weight.

So far so good
I have been looking for an item like this for a long time, and now I have found it! The most weight I plan to use with this is 45 lbs. I look forward in to seeing how it will hold up. I will update this review after I have used it a few times

Not for serious lifting
I was unable to use this device. It did not fit my rouge dumbbells

Adds a Whole New Dimension to My Workouts - Highly Recommend!
Doing my workouts at home limits the amount of equipment I can use. I wanted to add something new to my routine, and this was just the right piece of equipment. I had thought about adding kettlebells to my equipment, but this is better. It allows me to train with whatever amount of weight I need for each exercise without having to purchase multiple kettlebells. The converter is solid. It is well made and the clamp is heavy duty so you won’t worry about it coming off the dumbbell. And adding the kettlebell exercises to my routine have been just what I needed.

Not a good fit!
I don't like it. With the rubber pad inserted, my dumbbell won't fit. Without the rubber pad inserted, the space is way too big and the grip doesn't hold it tightly at all --- it's waaaaay loose and no one could ever use the dumbbell as a kettlebell this way. Am returning it tomorrow.
