Do these separate for washing?

other scissors I have purchased-even expensive ones - that come apart to clean are a nuisance - keep coming apart even when in use

Stainless steel can and does rust. Just not as easily as carbon steel. Dry them after use and you'll likely never have a rust problem.

Will these scissors work on lobster shells?

these scissors are great. i cut on bones a lot and sometimes mine just won't do a thing to help. these cut thru like butter.

Are the blades serrated?

On the ones I just received one side of one of the blades is serrated on each pair of scissors.
