Easy reading and helpful

I've read several of Christopher Penczak's books and have loved them all. He is a great writer that can teach complex subjects in a very easy to understand way. This book is perfect for a solitary witch or those working within a group. He goes in depth into knowing your true will, to how to keep from accidently causing harm through your spell and everything in between. Great beginner primer. Those more advanced in the occult, or who don't follow the rede may not like this one.

This is a very good introduction to spellcasting. It's written in an almost "scientific", non-nonsense style which I really appreciate. My only caveat with this book: He only talks about casting spells with words. He admits that there are other ways of spellcasting that don't use words/incantations but doesn't go into them. I am not a "word witch" but still I find the book to be one of the best intros on the topic I've read.
