Here are the "Ingredients: "mountain spring water, calcium carbonate, peppermint, spearmint, extra virgin olive oil, wild oregano oil P73, sage, rhatany root, geranium, clove bud oil, birch tree extract, eucalyptus leaf oil, papaya extract, natural menthol". I was pleasantly surprised by this toothpaste, even though I knew I would like the product just by looking at the all natural, chemical free ingredients. This product contains no cheap fillers like the unnecessary glycerin found in most store bought toothpaste (or shampoo or body wash for that matter). Another reputable company that does not use glycerin in their products, but is somewhat expensive, is "Living Libations" (out of Canada), whose products can now be found on Amazon. This product contains natural ingredients that are great for teeth and gums. Oregano, like most essential oils, is a powerful antimicrobial combatting bacteria and fungi, as do the other essential oils in this product. My gums were sensitive and sore due to an old filling leaking. Hence, a new cavity formed (bacteria got trapped), and me needing to replace the old filling with a crown. After getting the crown, I immediately started using this toothpaste. I also started using this company's "OregaCare" mouthwash. This/these products reduced the inflammation in my gums significantly and my gums are no longer sore. Additionally, this product also whitens my teeth due to the existence of the calcium carbonate. Calcium carbonate is significantly better than the overly abrasive silica [aka: sand] found in most toothpaste. I love this product as it is not only effective, but it is also not overly abrasive like your normal, store bought toothpaste. Most toothpaste and tooth brushes (including the "adult soft") are overly abrasive which causes tooth erosion, especially if you brush too hard with a manual toothbrush like I have. I have some erosion on my bottom teeth, esp. bottom right as I am right handed and normally brush my teeth with my right hand. If you tend to brush too hard, brush with your non-dominant hand (this would be my left-hand like most people). Now I brush my teeth with my left-hand and this works great to decrease brushing too hard. If purchasing a manual toothbrush, buy a child's soft, or, adult extra-soft if you can find it. Or, buy the natural bamboo toothbrushes one can find, for example, at "Natural Grocers", as most of these are nice and soft. I now use Oral-B iO electric toothbrush with "'Gentle Care' toothbrush heads" for sensitive teeth. This product is not overly minty at all. The feel of this toothpaste is great as it "glides" over your teeth and gums. This product is more expensive, at first, than your cheap toothpaste under $5 you can buy at the grocery store. However, you are actually saving money over time and saving your teeth and gum health. Thus, you're improving your quality of life, by spending a bit more upfront (explicit costs of item when purchased vs. implied costs over time such as overall dental health and quality, trips to dentist, etc.). I am a Virgo, and as one knows, Virgos are very health conscience and analytical-- as in very picky. If this product passes the/my Virgo test, something effective, healthy, and stimulating/fun is going on. ; ) In sum, this product provides the more difficult to find, but much better for you holistic option to dental health. This product is "Practical Perry" approved.

I really like this toothpaste, it doesn't have any harmful chemicals and it makes my teeth white ta-da! what I don't like is that it's kind of pricy for the amount of toothpaste you get. also, I've noticed that Amazon increases prices. I bought this toothpaste 2 weeks ago for 29.25 and a few days later i saw a price increase up to 31.99. that is so much $$ for 3.4 oz of toothpaste. So I bought off the internet for 10 bucks apiece. Bye amazon!

OKAY, I REALLY DO LIKE THIS TOOTHPASTE. MY MOUTH AND TEETH FEEL SO FRESH AFTER MY ORAL CARE. MY HUSBAND NO LONGER COMPLAINS OF MY BAD BREATH. I ONLY GAVE IT A 4 STAR BECAUSE OF THE FRUSTRATION OF GETTING THE PASTE TO COME OUT. IT'S A PUMP DISPENSER AND SOME TIMES NOTHING COMES OUT AND I HAVE TO KEEP PUMPING. THE DELIVERY SYSTEM FOR THE PASTE TO COME OUT HAS SOMETHING TO BE DESIRED. OTHERWISE, I DO LIKE THE PASTE.
