I have arthritis. Usual cam mechanism is difficult. Does this work easier?

This cam buckle is easier to release than the old ones that came with my car top canoe rack. The release lever is longer and the place where you push is wider and more comfortable. So if your difficulty is applying sufficient force with your fingers and thumb then this will help. However, the path that you have to thread the strap through is a bit tricky - it's not straight through (a bit like threading film through film projector). So if you have trouble grasping and manipulating 1" webbing, then this might be hard to set up initially.
