8 Outlets Surge Protector Power Strip with 2 USB Charging Ports (2.4 A, 5V) and 6’ Heavy Duty Extension Cord,White

I bought this to replace two old surge protectors and the clutter of wires under my iMac computer desk. It's so great; oversized plugs fit (printer, speakers) with plenty of outlets for all my other equipment (desk lamp, 2 extra external hard drives). It's clean and well organized now! Gotta love it....just look at the layout of the outlets! And I can charge my iPhone and iPad Pro at the same time at my desk instead of in the kitchen (lol). Simply awesome!

Looks nice and works great. This product would be perfect (at least for me) if the three outlets that are right next to each other were a little further apart and the product was a little wider so the two columns had more head room. I still cannot use all of the outlets because of the weird sizes of my plugs but this is so much better than the standard power strips. The USB ports at the end are so handy! I don't have to worry about extra outlets when I need to charge my phone or tablet.

Despite this being a relatively inexpensive purchase, the quality of the product is impressive. The packaging is made of a thick cardboard and houses the product neatly and securely. The product has some heft to it (in both weight and size), but I associate this aspect with a higher standard of manufacture. From what I can tell, this plastic is very hard (again, screaming quality), does not leave finger prints, and is -- according to the manufacturer -- able to withstand temperatures of over 1,300°F.The ON/OFF button is made of a glossy gray plastic, switches effortlessly, but wiggles a little too much for my liking. Apart from this, the general theme of the product is that it boasts an impressive level of value and craftsmanship.It isn't often that I'm this impressed with a product, more so because of the quaint packaging, that I go to the company's website to find out whether they sell more products of similar caliber. Although, unfortunately, HOLSEM only produces a handful of products -- which is beside the point. Do yourself a favor and buy one.

I live in an old house and wall outlets were apparently a thing to place in the most awkward places back then. Thus, all the wall outlets in my bedroom are placed behind the bed, next to a desk (but not at a comfortable angle, of course), another on the other side of the bed and one more behind my dresser/TV stand. So, I've collected a fine little box of power strips over the years but nothing is GREAT because I end up trying to cram everything I need into one outlet and I'm still left out of breath and squeezing the top half of my body under my nightstand just to unplug my Kindle charger to get my camera battery plugged in. Anyways, I digress. This surge protector is amazing. I keep it by my nightstand and am able to keep all my usual chargers continuously plugged in. No more bumping my head under the table when I want to charge an extra device. It's especially great for pre-travel preparations when I want to charge everything the night before a flight. I used to stick a device on each outlet and then some but now they can all be neatly piled together.*Side note: I didn't bring this one but my cousins brought a similar surge protector when we traveled to Peru last year instead of a power adapter. It was genius and I wished I'd thought of it. They were able to charge all their devices each night using one outlet and it protected against any potential power outages.

This product worked as expected but I had to return it. I have 4 transformer plugs that are 'sideways' and took up all the room for other plugs. I ordered the 12 outlet protector and it works marvelously. I especially like the ability to plug in 3 usb devices. I have an external hard drive that uses one of the USB ports 24/7. The others are used for my iPhone / iPad and a garmen device. Great product

Bought two of these to replace strip that has failed after a month's use. I currently use one for my workbench, for chargers for various power tools I have and a work light. The USB ports will be handy when I bring my laptop to the workroom to view instructional video or pdf files I don't want to print. I will use my second one with my desk for my laptop, printer and extra desk lamp and some other gizmos I have at my desk. The surge protection is a very necessary plus the other strip did not have..I don't anticipate any problems but should one arise I will contact HOLSEM for assistance. I may use the option of attaching them to the wall, but will see if it's really needed. If I decide to update this review, I will add a comment in the future. I can so far recommend this product which is priced right for me and it seems well made and durable.

This device did not work for me. Each time I would use it, the circuit breaker would trip after a few minutes of use. Since I only had one (1) appliance plugged in each time I used it, I did not have an overload condition. This was a waste of money and I will never buy another product from this company.UPDATEThe Holsem company contacted me after seeing my post. They talked with me via email and also by phone. They listened to my issue and have given me a code to order a replacement power strip. They also reminded me that I had actually purchased 2 power strips (I had forgotten that I had done that) and the 2nd power strip is working with no issues. This company is showing that they value their customers and I am grateful that they are helping me to resolve my issue.Thanks Holsem company for your help!

Great product with lots of spacing so it makes it easy to get several types of plugs in. The only issue holding it back for me is the power button is too large and easy to flip. How often do people really need to turn it off and is it necessary to take that much space up? I think not. Move the switch and make it smaller. Give me more outlets instead and it's perfect.
