I love these MusicNomad kits. The tools are good quality and everything you need for a basic guitar setup is included and neatly contained in a compact, easy-to-store case. Having everything in one place means you’re not constantly searching for tools when working on your guitar, which makes the whole process much easier and more enjoyable. The setup gauges are accurate and easy to use. MusicNomad also has excellent online setup resources, which makes this kit even more valuable if you’re doing your own setups. Highly recommended for any guitarist.

I thought these kits were pricey for what they are, then used one in a guitar building class and had to get it. It's great to have on the bench while doing assembly and setup. Everything is right there, saving time and taking less space than the individual tools. The big selling point for me is the handle for the bit kit. Seems gimmicky having the nut driving section, but it's actually quite genius. You can tighten tuners without scratching the hardware (especially black hardware). The Allen bits being small enough for saddle height screws is impressive. Even the spanner has a soft rubber bottom to avoid finish scratches. The measuring tools are solid and not as sharp as the cheapo ones you find here. The budget ones work fine but can scratch finishes if you're not careful. The truss rod kit is great just because of the acorn nut wrenches. I fell in love with those early on when I ordered them individually. The Phillips head on the bottom is perfect for truss rod covers. The kit's not cheap, but if you do setup and/or assembly regularly it's worth the price of admission. Definitely recommend the bit kit over the StewMac one because of the handle. It's nice to have more options for premium guitar tools, and Music Nomad hasn't disappointed me yet.

A birthday gift for my son who wanted to learn how to do setups for his bass guitars. He truly has a passion because within a few days he's setup a little shop in the basement and has been tinkering away. So glad I bought these tools. He loves music and guitars so much. I wish there was some local programs or something offered at the tech school. This boy is a Luther in the making. The tools work for all makes and models from his euro made, Japan made, American made, he had just about everything he needed in these to get everything lined up. Good stuff right here for someone just starting out for sure. Will keep looking out for other stuff as he continues to tinker away.

Would definitely recommend for anyone who aspires to be their own luthier or just to take care of basics with their guitar. Quality tools!

I thought these were incredibly cool especially for how much they were. I have bought other little guitar tool kits that come in thin, cheap little zipper baggies that don't even fit the tools properly. These guys put a lot of thought into this product. Two of the tool cases are molded aluminum very sturdy and all the tools fit tightly and neatly inside of it. The one case that isn't metal is a nice thick zippered case not a bag. The best part is that it actually comes with a little manual that shows you how to use the tools! I'm pretty sure there are links to videos on how to use them as well but it's nice to have the little manual for reference. Even the manual is made from thick high gloss quality paper and you can actually read the words without a magnifying glass. I bought a few products from these guys and I will probably buy more because so far it seems like they actually care what they're making rather than just gathering tools made by somebody else and throwing them into a bag calling them a kit. Maybe not the highest quality set of tools I don't know I haven't had very many different sets of guitar tools but they work great for me. When you consider price, customer service, and the fact that the cases allow you to keep your tools in the same location so they're always there when you need them.

I’ve been playing for years and always shelled out $$$ for setups. I bought a used PRS that needed a set up in a bad way so figured I’d give it a shot. This kit makes it super simple to get the professional set up I used to pay for. One side note, get the file set too. I really like how they have everything together and cased…the included instructions are easy to follow. I’ve set up 4 guitars so far and have zero complaints

Exceeded my expectations. These are high quality tools, and come with very thorough guides, making guitar setups a breeze. The included cases are also really quality.

I love Music Nomad. This kit comes with all the tools bits, and truss rod wrenches you will need. Their kits surpass Stew Mac in value, being just as functional, if not more so. Compact kits, with very clear instructions on use. Have had these for a while and they are very durably designed.

Very clear instructions on how to setup your guitars. Can save some money to do the simple setup on my own and only sending the more complicated jobs to a Luthier

This is a great tool kit and is a fantastic value. If you work on your own guitars or on guitars for other people, this kit will pay for itself in no time. You’ve got pretty much everything that you need (tool wise) to do a proper setup on your guitar.

the 10mm nut driver in it got absolutely stripped out when replacing the first guitar tuners! It became useless before loosening 3 Fender tuner nuts! MusicNomad needs to refund me for this!

Very comprehensive set of adjustment tools. Good quality and has been put to use in tweaking my guitars and straps. Has enabled me to do work I would have had to pay someone to do for me in the past.
