Do these cartridges result in "non-OEM cartridge" errors in the printer? I have an hp cp1525n color laser printer.

My CM1312 has not had any errors with this ink. I have been presently surprised with these. Other non "OEM" have not shown ink levels or printed unevenly. I have been using these now 3 months or 15% of the cartridges.

will they recycle spent cartridges?

They do not supply the return lables like HP does -- I have not recycled them.

I have a black toner that has stopped printing in the middle of the page when printing long documents.

I do not have a real answer for this, it it only happens during legal size documents and not on letter size documents than it may be a printer problem and not a toner cartridge problem. If it happens during all printing you may need to replace the cartridge. If the cartridge is getting low on toner, taking the cartridge out and slowly rotating the cartridge to distribute the toner evenly may help in getting a few more print jobs done.
