Q: Does this attach to phone with magnets or adhesive?

It attaches with adhesive. I have had this on my phone for almost a year and it has never come loose... It's not one I would suggest prying off and using on another case. It's cheap enough that I would suggest buying a new one for each case you want it on.

Q: I already ran out of the protective film that you're supposed to first apply to the case. Do you sell extra, or what else can I use?

I don't know if they sell extras, but I feel like you can put the holder straight on your case. I would only do that if you plan on keeping that phone and case for a long time. The key is to press hard and hold it for a minute or so. Then DON'T use the holder for at least 24 hrs. Mine stuck on very well.

Q: Silicone case compatible?

Yes, as long as you can alcohol it off.
