Q: what is the size of the topper? this is to get an idea of for how many people will be the cake

Peppa is about 3"x2", Georgie takes up a little more room with the swing. We used a standard 9x13 sheet cake and it worked out perfect! The only thing is if I were going to feed more people I would have preferred a larger cake to work in more background detail. But the baker managed to squeeze in the house, a tree and the fence.

Q: Is the cake topper a base for the cake and the figurines go over it, or this is just the figurines

Just the figures. I had the super market bakery use the design for one of their car cakes and had them leave off their figures. It looked really cute.

Q: do I need to give these to the bakery beforehand for the bakery to put them on the cake or I can put them on the cake after the cake is delivered?

I did the whole cake myself, but I used to work in the bakery at Kroger. You should be able to give it to the bakery when you place your order, I would just make sure the have a picture of the background to go with it. If they don't already have the kit, they probably don't have a reference for the background either.

Q: My wife and I are having a big disagreement. Is there an "edible" cake topper included in this package?

No there is not....I decorated the cake myself with buttercream frosting and then put the toppers on...My granddaughter loved the decorations especially the swing.
