Paint by Sticker (Official): Create 12 Masterpieces One Sticker at a Time!

I suffer from periods of anxiety and this art form has been so relaxing for me. I will say that it requires dexterity and a steady hand. I found that it’s helpful to use tweezers for placement and so that you reduce contact with the adhesive to ensure that it sticks well. I use my jewelry tweezer because it has a flat surface at one end that is perfect for smoothing the sticker out and for a good hold. The pictures and colors are so vibrant and with patience you will have hours of enjoyment and peaceful crafting. The pictures are also beautiful when completed and I’m thinking of framing them for display. I just have a few minor improvements I would love to see as I plan on buying more of these books in the future. I would like the stickers and pictures to have better perforations to allow easy tearing. I struggled to tear out the sticker pages because it makes it easier to get at them instead of having to go back and forth between the pages. While removing the sticker pages, I inadvertently tore the page. Luckily the stickers were not torn. I would also like the stickers to be in order of application because the numbers are all over the place so you have to hunt for the sticker and a lot of them are teeny tiny. Lastly, I wish they were all cut perfectly because it drives me crazy when they don’t align perfectly and you can see some cracks. My last complaint might be due to my OCD. LOL. My overall review is that this is so much fun to do! It puts me in Zen mode! Highly recommend!

What a great fun book! I did the first picture of a hummingbird and now am totally hooked! I love detailed crafts and this is definitely very detailed. I used tweezers to place each piece - the directions say that you need to place each piece where you want it the first time because you can't unstick it and move it, but you definitely can re-place a piece if you need to. I did for some of the pieces and had no problem. This is a craft that requires a lot of patience, much like diamond painting and adult coloring, and if you like them you will for sure like this. The paper for each picture is nice and heavy and the sticker pieces were cut well and fit well in each space. I didn't have a problem with white space around each sticker. You just have to kind of fiddle with each sticker piece until it fits in its space and tweezers are definitely a big help here. Some of the sticker pieces are pretty small and once again tweezers are very helpful to place them. I did find that I needed to use an X-acto knife to cut the sticker pages out of the book since if you try to rip them out via the perforations the pages will bend and start to rip. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a detailed craft challenge. I can't wait to start my next picture! Addendum: I have had a small problem with some tiny sticker pieces not sticking as well as they should have, but problem solved with a bit of glue.

Some reviews were saying that these stickers don't stick, but they really do. The only time I encountered anything problematic is when I dragged against a sticker before it set. So maybe those people just don't know how to use common sense? Anyway, if you're looking into this book, and think it's going to be a super fun project of creating beautiful sticker images that look like modern art pieces, then you are right. I love this book so much that I wish this became as famous as regular coloring books. It's so relaxing to do while you're watching a show, and some of them can take hours to create, so the 12 pages will last you for months (if you have other things going on such as work or school, etc). I'm totally pre-ordering their next book and I might even buy the children's book as well because I love working with the big stickers. The ONLY problem I had was with the sticker page that is the cover of this book. The people who made the stickers for this page messed up slightly. So I thought I lost one of the stickers to the goldfish, but when I was nearing the end of the portrait, the sticker happened to be in the wrong section. It was completely mislabeled. I put it in the correct square, but it didn't fit fully into it so I have to fill the white space with a matching marker. I hope the company sees this review so that they can address this problem, because I felt extremely frustrated at the time because this was one of the pieces I was looking forward to the most. I haven't finished the book so I don't know if I'll encounter the same problem again. But that isn't enough to make me take off a star or complain. I do love this sticker book, and I'm sure you will too. :)

I love these books. They are more challenging and fun to do and they help me ease my heart, mind and spirit.

Das Buch ist TOP!! Die Bilder lassen sich super gut kleben. Sie lassen sich auch sehr gut aneinander kleben so das wenige Spaltmaßen entstehen. Man bricht etwas für ein Bild, man ist nicht schnell fertig, was ich persönlich super finde. Kann ich auf jedenfall weiter empfehlen.
