Excellent purchase The rice cooker works very well, cooks the rice perfectly, and is very easy to use. It’s easy to clean and has a good size for everyday use. Very good value for the price. Highly recommended.

I followed directions and tried to cook 28 cups of rice (14 cups uncooked). I used the rice cup measurer that came with the cooker (I followed directions) to measure the 14 cups of uncooked rice and filled water up to the proper line. The cooker switched to warm before rice was barely cooked. I added more water and the cooker kept switching to warm before it was cooked. I finally had to transfer rice to a pan on the stove to get it to cook. I tried cooking 4 cups of uncooked rice and filled to proper line and it almost finished cooking rice, but it browned on the bottom and switched to warm before rice was fully cooked. The only thing this rice cooker is good for is to cook soup or user it as a warmer to keep food warm! The best way I found to cook rice is an Instant Pot or in the oven.

This rice cooker functions fine, just make sure the heating plate never comes in contact with water or else it’ll break.

Works amazing, but if you don't put the water correctly (1:1½) (one cup rice, 1 ½ Cup water) The rice will end up burning. It turns off on its own when it is done. It is very simple, and you can cook many things in it. If you are looking for something basic and not high tech, this is for you! It is VERY easy to clean too!

The item -its BIG ! > didn't think it be that size >I couldnt find something smaller in stock due to this pandamic...... as its for cooking Quinoa & rice for two people. first try of cooking brown rice - things went umm @ first use > but there was this weird smell at beginning - something like metal burning off something..... FYI - its a grreeat size for doing "CHINESE HOT POT DINNERS" for family & friends!! we used our older one ( pan**c 10 cups for last 12+ years, which is getting a bit tired, but still cooks perfect rice& quinoa
