WORKPRO Bench Vise, 4-1/2" Vice for Workbench | Utility Combination Pipe Home Vise, Swivel Base Bench for Woodworking

It’s a great vise and does what I need it to do. Mine arrived yesterday and I immediately put it to work. The vise is very heavy and of solid construction, and mine worked as it should right out of the box. I fastened the vise’s base to my workbench and got to it. It was easy to install and use, and is the right size, etc, for what I need. I used this product for a fairly-demanding task (for the vise), so I felt comfortable reviewing it quickly after purchasing it. In the attached video, it’s holding the starter and solenoid from my old truck steady while I test them.

Quality, medium/small vice for the cost.

I picked up this WORKPRO bench vise to help with my woodworking projects — specifically to hold small pieces of wood steady while I plane them into curls for making wooden flowers. For that purpose, it works very well. It holds the material securely and has helped make the process much easier. That said, there is a bit of side-to-side play in the jaws, which might be an issue for precision work. But for general hobby use or lighter-duty tasks, it’s definitely solid enough. Once mounted, it feels stable — just make sure to grab some lag bolts and washers to properly secure it to your workbench, as mounting hardware isn’t included. Overall, it’s a good value for the price and a practical choice for beginner or intermediate woodworking needs.

This vice is small which makes it ideal for limited work spaces. It does open to 4.5” and the pipe grip works well. The mounting feet are sturdy and the hole size and location made it easy to mount to a table corner (see photo) The finish is clean with few if any casting flaws and holds up well to being pounded on. The rotation range is ~300 degrees so you get good accessibility if mounted on a corner. It does a good job of holding wood and metal in place for bending, cutting, grinding, drilling, welding, sanding. Obviously not large enough for industrial use but for a home shop, a good quality product at a reasonable price.

A well made small vice. It is large enough to secure light projects but small enough to still be mobile if you dont bolt it down. Has multiple holding points and is adjustable if you do bolt it down. I am getting good use of it so far

This vice has stood the test of time on my workbench. It has been used for a variety of tasking and has proven to be reliable. Very good value for the price point. Highly recommend!

The jaws grip well and the mounting to my bench was solid. No complaints after several projects.
