Self-Therapy for the Stutterer Paperback – January 1, 2010

Got this copy to replace an older copy that had a broken spine.Interesting suggestions.Appreciate the list of famous people who stutter , including Pres Biden.

It is so easy to feel hopeless as a stutterer, but reading even just the first page made me feel better. This book develops a community for stutterers. As someone who doesn't know anyone else with a speech impediment, it is so incredibly refreshing not to hear complaints about stuttering, but rather solutions and have HOPE.

It is for a gift, but what I saw of it, I think it will be good. It was exactly what I expected.

I am a stutter all my life and this book is wonderful help it has helped me immensely not only with the act of stuttering but with the embarrassment and the alienation I felt as a stutter I wasn't alone anymore I wasn't the only one with this problem

I rented the outdated video (of this book) from the library only to find out that it’s the exact same information which is contained in this book- that’s probably why there are so many resellers for this book, they probably got wind of the video and decided to get rid of the book. It’s the same information in the video so if you don’t mind an outdated video go with the video instead of the book.

Easy read, easy to understand, I learned a lot from it.

Excellent for at home therapy. Ive used different editions over many years with great success both at home and in the real world.

Take the plunge towards fluency!
