Logistic Regression: A Primer (Quantitative Applications in the Social Sciences)

Well-written and logically ordered. Does not move to fast and provides examples - most of which you can calculate by hand if you get lost or confused. Uses Stata but if you familiar with R you could probably reproduce the examples easily enough.

Excellent book, introducing the basics of Logistic Regression. Reading this will help with understanding more comprehensive books and more difficult LR topics.
