Witch Hat Atelier 8

Series Info/Source: This is the 8th volume in the Witch Hat Atelier series. I bought a copy of this book. Thoughts: Most of this story follows Coco and Tartah as they try to come up with a way to help Custas. They are also preparing for a big magic festival (Silver Eye) that is about to start. This was another fantastic read. The artwork is amazing, the characters are fun and the story is very well done. I loved the preparations for the Silver Eye festival and enjoyed watching Coco and Tartah come up with a way to assist Custas with his disability. Summary (5/5): Overall this manga series is just full of so much magic, fun, and I love the way our characters take care of each other despite their differences. This is such a heartwarming and feel good series. The illustration is amazing and I really loved just sitting down to look at the panels in this manga. This is a great manga series and I would recommend it to those interested in fantasy/magic manga.

My kid loves the WHA books, so this was a must for Christmas.

If I had to choose a favorite manga it’s gotta be this one. The art is beautiful, the story is deep and does a good job of showing how actions taken in the past come to affect others in the future.

I am so in love with this manga that I actually canceled a hold I had at the library so I could buy it instead. Love love love the different types of disability representation that’s introduced, though I won’t spoil a thing!

I can’t knock this beautiful book for my stupidity accidentally ordered it in Spanish but still great nonetheless.

'Witch Hat Atelier' continues to be excellent; if you like magic and wizard schools, you should definitely be reading this. I love that as we get to see more of the kids learning magic, we also get to see more of the stresses and problems in witch society - not because people are evil or making bad decisions, but because even good decisions can have downsides and there isn't one right choice for everyone everywhere. And when they do make 'bad' decisions, you can understand why they felt they had to do it - sometimes because you just really want to be an evil wizard who does magic on people. :) Anyway, it's a great series and I'm a little sad to be caught up to the releases because now I have to wait for the next volume.

Mi hija ha ido coleccionando esta serie de manga en inglés fuera de España. Ahora nos encontramos en España y me gustó poder conseguir fácilmente el manga en inglés para que su colección se mantenga igual. El libro demoró aproximadamente una semana en llegar porque lo envían desde Londres, que suena a una espera relativamente larga ya que estamos acostumbrados a que todo llegue en un día o dos, pero la verdad no es que sea mucho tiempo. Llegó en perfecto estado. Obviamente el manga es maravilloso, tiene un arte precioso y una gran historia, pero quería enfocarme en hablar sobre mi experiencia con el envío.
