Dubious at First…..But
Quite sturdy construction and had no problem fitting a 128GB sdxc card. When I inserted the loaded adapter into my Canon 7D mk1 I got an error message but went ahead and formatted the card anyway. This must have been a generic message as it was cured by the format. Now works perfectly and shows under info as being 127 GB and will store about 2.8K raw images. No issues filling up the buffer on multi shot and writes to the card at an acceptable speed. With an sd card of 128GB being available for £16. (20/12/24) and similar size CF card being nearly a hundred pounds this represents fantastic value for money. Just remember to format the card first. Excellent!

Does the job for my old slr
Fits my old slr camera well and allows me to use SD cards in it with no issue. Good quality, removed one start because I can't get the SD card out without removing the whole adaptor.

Works nicely on a D700
I had to create a fat32 partition on the SD card in Windows Disk Management before the D700 was able to format and use it, but seeing as some sites list this model as 'incompatible', I was pleased. However, some included instructions or documentation would not go amiss. Now I can transfer photos to my phone on the go without having to carry a reader, as well as get large storage expansion for cheap. The build quality is a bit lacking, but not quite as bad as the graphic design of the label suggests. I've had to use tweezers to pull the SD card out a few times; the tolerances are a bit tight. I will update this review if it fails or turns out to be flimsy, but for now I am content for the money.

FAULTY CARD, NOT SAFE FOR CAMERA
Had to return the item because it was a hazard to our camera. See the issue it caused is it can cause the pins in your camera compact flash slot. Which will soon enough give you an error and then shut off your camera until you can find a place to repair it. Ended up costing 90£ to fix, yes I know it was this card because the repair told us and even showed us where the pins were getting caught and bent. Even showed us where they were peeling Took 2 separate card adapters(which were bought months from each other) Be warned

Takes an SD or micro-SD with an adapter but slow transfer rate
I needed a digital camera to take RAW scans of large analogue film negatives. I bought a Sony A100 digital camera and was surprised to find that it required a CF data card. Bought this and inserted a Sandisk micro-SD card in an SD adapter. The camera recognised the storage medium straight away and it has continued to work fine since. The one downside is that it is slow - I'm seeing transfer rates of 2-3Mb per second. This translates to taking 3 shots (the camera can buffer this internally) and then waiting for an extended period for them to write to the card. This means that you could miss shots whilst you are waiting for the write to finish, so bear this in mind.

Great SD card adapter for old DLSR camera
Worked great in a 20 year old DLSR camera with the "right" SD card....

Works well in my EOS 40D. Good price.
I bought this to use on my Canon EOS 40 D and it works very well. Now I am able to use an SD card in my Canon which would normally take CF cards. It means I can use high capacity cards in old cameras. A very good price too.

Good adapter
A good way to use cheaper SD cards in cameras that use CF cards. Mine wouldn’t work with sdxc cards only sdhc but that doesn’t matter as they are still fast enough for a camera that does 6.3 frames per second at 15Mp JPEG’s. SD cards are a tight fit in it be patient putting them in. Adaptor fits in camera perfectly. Have used upto 32Gb cards in it no problem.

ChenYang SD zu CF Adapter
Funktioniert wie erwartet. Praktisch für ältere Kameras, um SD-Karten weiter zu nutzen. Geschwindigkeit ist okay, kein Profi-Tool, aber zuverlässig.

Works great in an old Canon DSLR
I recently bought a used Canon 5D mkiii DSLR as an inexpensive way to experience the "Full Frame look". It has been a long time since I used anything with CF cards, and all I could rummage out of my discarded gadgets box was an 8GB card. I couldn't find my old USB card reader either. Instead of investing in CF cards and readers, I thought I'd pick this up. This way I can use any of the SD and micro SD cards that I have around and can read them directly in my laptop and existing card reader. Its early days, but so far, so good!
