Orange Bird of Paradise - Strelitzia Reginae - 1 Large Live Plant - Tropical Perennial Blooming Specimen

I got this plant for a friend gift...I ending taking it because is beautiful!I love it!!Better then what I spect!Highly recommended!!I would buying this again!

I was looking forward to putting this right on my patio . When I opened it , i was so disappointed! the leaves were shredded , brown and yellow . it was not as large as they said it would be either . I don’t think I can nurse it back to life , it’s that’s bad !

This plant was shipped from Florida. It took three weeks to arrive. It was completely dried out. Planted it immediately. Thought it was going to die… Actually it was three plants. One of them- the smallest one- was already dead in the shipping. The other two plants have recovered and are growing a little at a time. I have them indoors with my orchids. I’m hoping that the two surviving Bird of Paradise plants will bloom. I have grown these before successfully to specimen size and bloom.

I received a large sturdy healthy plant. When I contacted the seller that there was however only one plant, they quickly responded to my email and are sending out the second plant. I would shop with them again!

My plant came in healthy and as described.

One large root broke off when I was potting it. Leaves are small and skinny. Leaves have a yellowish/brownish sheen that looks like an iridescent oil sheen under stronger light. Will see if it bounces back or dies.
