Every recipe a success!
I’ve bought just about every vegan cook book going. My struggle is having a mix of meat-eaters, vegans and vegetarians in the family and the non-vegans have always shuddered when I’m cooking vegan. I have made multiple meals from this incredibly easy-to-follow recipe book and even the meat-eaters are impressed! It’s beautifully written, beautifully illustrated, easy to follow and the recipes are fail safe! A big recommendation from me.

Isa Does It Again
I received this cookbook about a month ago, and so far have cooked four of the recipes. I have to say that each one has turned out FANTASTIC. I am a big fan of Isa's and my favorite cookbook is Isa Does It. Although I love Isa Does It, many of the recipes were not exactly easy for a weeknight meal. So far, the recipes that I have tried from "I Can Cook Vegan" are much easier to execute. Isa's flavor combinations are amazing, and make vegan cooking exciting. My husband is an omnivore and has repeatedly opened this cookbook to pick out the next recipe that we're going to make. In terms of the layout, I'm so excited that there are pictures of every recipe. I agree with a few of the reviewers that the book could use a 2nd print with darker font in some areas, but I think that a cookbook should be judged based on the quality of the recipes, and the recipes contained in this book deserve 5 stars!

The most basic of books
No cooking times, no info in reheatability or freezabilty - this book lacks so much of what I’ve come to expect from modern cookbooks. The recipes themselves rely way too much on store-bought condiments (if I had a dollar every time it calls for store bought mayonnaise…) There’s also no nutritional info, and a bunch of the recipes strike me as really unhealthy. I like a couple of Isa’s other books, but this one is way below those ones. The massive writing at the start of the book to fill pages comes across as really lazy.
