The Plant Finder: The Right Plants for Every Garden Hardcover – March 16, 2007

This book is encyclopedic but harder to use than I thought. The extensive tables are less than useful because a reader has to sort through 100s of plants that are not appropriate for a particular zone. It's probably a good reference book, but not a daily go-to garden book, like the Sunset Western Garden Book, the bible for western gardeners.

The Plant Finder is a great resource for finding plants for your garden. It lists plants by color which is a great way to make your garden colorful. Compact, yet very thorough in plant coverage.
