Love this set of knifes excelent for everyday use

They are sharp enough, but my complaint is that they're not well balanced, the handles are very light, so they feel cheap. But, for the price you might pay, I think it's fair enough.

Knives are a bit “weak” feeling. I do enjoy the sharpener stick over the grindstone that’s been more popular.

So far, until today, this is a decent cutlery set. Clearly not Cutco quality. While using the 8" chef blade to slice up a watermelon the handle separated from the blade - Yikes! Now I've got a large knife blade lodged half way through the center of a watermelon and the blade handle is off. I carefully used a 2nd knife to finish the cut and recover the 8" blade. So the warranty is like 30 Days? Returning them via Amazon returns is not an option. I thought a knife set should last for years, but this set fell 2 months short of a single year. Do I trust the remaining knives to not slice me as they disintegrate? As he saying goes "Don't waste your money" Cheers.
