Q: I want a stop watch that does not alarm. is this what i am looking for?

This stopwatch makes no noise whatsoever - no beeps, no alarms, nothing; totally quiet. It's a stopwatch, not a watch/clock; it does not keep time in other words, just elapsed time.

no, is only a stopwatch does haver varios stopwatch functions, i mainly use it for the gym

Q: Can this be used as a Timer, for example, to countdown 8 hours and beep an alarm at the end of that 8 hours?

Dont know if it beeps....was using it in a noisy helicopter for test flight work. It a good one and not expensive.

Q: Does it come with the lanyard

Not to be difficult, but shouldn't the seller answer this?Anyway, mins had no lanyard.

Expensive for what it is

Casio is a great brand, but this item only has 2 basic functions. Lap time and split time. Not even the time of day. Overpriced for what it is!
