I just received 3 JTB-1393 water filter cartridges, I ordered 3 JTB-1393A-S water filter cartridges. The box containing the filters says it contains: "Item No.: JTB-1393A-S REPLACEMENT CARRIDGE" (sic)"Manufactured by : Jietei Purification Tech Co., Ltd.No. 2 Meiping Street, Maling Village, Southern District,Zhongshan, Guangdong, 528455 China" In very, very, very small print.Since it is noted on the same Amazon web page that "HiWater" does in fact make both models, and are even compared to each other, I suppose it is possible that some careless laborer just got the boxes mixed up. I'll have to wait and see how difficult it is to get the correct product into my hands before I will make a judgement.Update: I returned first box, and the same thing was just delivered as replacement. I'm sure it wasn't the same box because I wrote "wrong items enclosed" in black marker on the first box. Looks like Amazon needs to open all the boxes they have of these (at HiWater's expense of course) to see if they've been defrauded by HiWater, not to mention the damage to Amazon's reputation, and their subsequent excess shipping expense.

We used it for a Thermador refrigerator. Easy to install and water tastes great.

Water from the fridge was starting to have a chlorine taste. Replaced the filter with one of these, flushed the system as instructed. Chlorine taste is gone

This was supposed be a replacement filter for my Whirpool 5396508 filter. Something broke when I tried to turn it into place. Water poured out of filter holder, flooding my kitchen floor. I had to disconnect the water to my refrigerator. Now I cannot use the ice maker or water dispenser. The product support contact email for the company does not work. The HiWater filter company in Washington State told me that this company on Amazon is not their company and has been a foreign country company using their name. DO NOT USE!
