I bought this for my 13 year old son. He loves it! It's easy to use the provided tool to get the globe floating & rotating. It's a little small for using it for locations on the globe, but it's a nice ambient light on his dresser and decor for his room.

I bought 5 of these, for grandsons and sons. Put one together to see how they work. So far no complaints. Larger than I thought, which is a good surprise. I do recommend.

Nice globe

Super easy set up using the included tool. You're supposed to have the silver side of the base facing you, but I prefer the black side. It spins relatively quickly and there's no way to change the speed. I slowed it down by slightly touching it with my finger but it sped up on its own, which surprised me. Apparently it will rotate on its own forever as long as it's plugged in, unlike some other floating globes (I bought a different one and returned it). Overall, a nice size, pleasant lighting, and a fun accent item for any room

Great piece

Using the enclosed tool, it is easy enough to position the globe to float. Spinning requires precision if you don't want a lot of wobble in the spin. Because the lights are from the side, it is hard to read anything on the front or back of the globe, which suggests some kind of penlight might have been a good addition. It generally works as advertised, but if you were looking for a well-lit globe that spins on it's own you may want to look at other options.

An amazing gadget. Not only does the globe levitate, it also changes colour while constantly rotating due to a spinning electromagnetic field interacting with the globe. The details printed on the globe are also superb. It would be even better if there was an option to change the rotation rate which is a little too fast.

Works perfectly and attracts alot of attention! Would work well as a night light. I spin it once in the morning and it doesn't even look like its slowed down by the time I go home at the end of the day. I've used it for about 15 days so far (135 hours) and no issues. Its not incredibly durable, so dropping either peice on a hard surface, even one time could break it. Be careful! Great detail in the globes surface design and text, but very small and hard to read for some people. Mine sits underneath an under lit shelf so I bought a small, cheap 30x jewlers loop and it stay in a little case beside the globe for actual viewing. It's cool!
