this is a great scale and automatically sends the data to your phone via Bluetooth.

I really love the scale and the white looks wonderful in the bathroom. I like that you see more than just the weight on the scale itself.The Vsync app that you have to download however, is not good. It keeps changing the default language to Vietnamese and then of course you can't figure out how to set it back to English, because all the instructions are also in Vietnamese. I tried figuring it out with notes and Google Translate, it is a pain in the butt. As soon as I got to the correct screen to change it back to English, it would not accept the language change and stayed on Vietnamese. Support helped a little, as they sent me Screenshots of the English menu. I will have to uninstall this app and use the plain scale for now. And yes, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times. I might even have to replace the scale, because Vsync is just too cumbersome and I need to be able to track my progress.It worked flawlessly for over one year, but worthless now 😞Update: Everything works beautifully now and I am very happy with scale and the app

Solo es necesario que la persona se suba a la báscula después de haber creado su perfil en la app en el celular para que el resultado llegue ahí mismo, y no solo el peso, aparte toda la información que podemos obtener con un solo aparato. Ya no hay pretexto de no me alcance a tomar mis mediciones, solo me subo a la báscula y en segundos los resultados llegan por bluetooth o wifi a la palma de mi mano.

I got this after recently getting a Samsung Watch and wanting to track my fitness better. $50 seemed like a reasonable amount of money for a smart scale. So far I've had my scale since the day after Christmas. It is still sitting with a full charge and I use it a couple times a day. It linked super easily to the Samsung Health App on my phone which is awesome and gives some very detailed breakdowns regarding water and protein levels that I didn't expect to use. The thing is surprisingly accurate when it comes to the measurements. The app said I was low on water and protein so I drank a good bit of water and ate a protein rich sandwich, and a couple hours later when I stepped back on the scale the vales for my hydration and protein had gone up. For the price it seems like a great value. This isn't the first item i've had by this brand. The other is a digital thermometer that I use for cooking, and after at least 5 to 7 years of regular use I finally had to change the battery on it, but other then that it still goes strong. So no complaints on Etekcity's ability to produce decent quality products. Hopefully this one lasts just as long!Updated: It's been 3 and a half months since I bought this scale and it finally died. I just have been using the battery that it came charged with, and it was at less then 50%. So I charged the thing up and it's ready to go. That being said, after this long of use, I have to say it has encouraged me to step on the scale daily to track my number which has encouraged me to lose over 20lbs in that timeframe. Definitely would still recommend!

So far, I love this purchase: 1) it works beautifully and looks beautiful; 2) syncing it to my ipad was super easy; 3) it provides a lot of information - I mean a lot! ; 4) the graphics on the scale and on the ipad app are great, so accessible; 5) You can see multiple days and compare readings very easily, has data graphs, advises what readings are high or low or within acceptable ranges; 6) it appears to be spot on accurate (I knew my weight and also compared it with another scale known to be accurate) and 7) when I had a question my email was answered by prompt return email - really fast response.One thing that would make a great purchase even better is if the manufacturer would include a separate document explaining what all of the information provided means - how it each reading is related to the other readings and related to health and such. I really only wanted my weight and body fat readings, but this provides so much more. However, the other items, while clearly identified, (body fat, fat free body weight, body water, bone mass, muscle mass, protein, BMR, visceral fat, subcutaneous fat) and while I am now happy all of this is included, I had to do a bit of on-line research to understand a lot more about those readings.Providing a brief chart or explanation of these readings and such would not only be very useful to the user, it could be a significant selling point. Also, would be nice to be able to print the readings, or email to yourself so you can print from there - but not a big deal.The bottom line is that I am very happy with this purchase. Love it.

The scale is great, accurate and consistent, we are very happy with it.The app keeps losing Wi-Fi connection with the scale. when this happens it does not log your weight. Also, sometimes it sends my weight to my wife's app, and sometimes her weight to mine. We are not close in weight, it should better distinguish between us.
