JBL Xtreme 3 Wireless Portable Waterproof Speaker and Charging Cable with Bluetooth, Black

Delivery was great and was delivered well packaged and with care. Prior to purchasing this i had tested a few portable speakers including a smaller version to this at currys to get an idea. Due to being a better value i decided to go ahead and purchase of Amazon. The sound is very bassy and loud. Battery life is great depending on use of course but I do not have to charge this that often. This gets more power and louder when plugged into a wall socket. For some reason it adds more wattage by doing that. Overall the sound quality is excellent and the bass would shake your room but in a smooth way rather than like a subwoofer. The mids are clear and the highs are very decent. I tried a sony srsxg500 and a marshall acton against this and felt this gave me the overall sound quality i was after. The sony sounded clear but lacked in overall bass and punchiness. The marshall had great sound at low levels but again at higher volumes it ran out of steam and the box enclosure would shake and rattle which put me off. Marshall acton was a great speaker overall as everyone has different taste. Those that hear guiter based songs should try a marshall. This JBL Xtreme plays all songs very clearly and with punchiness. They also own Harmon Kardon or vice versa used in Bmw vehicles. I also tried the xtreme against the flip 6 whilst in store. The flip 6 was pretty decent and if budget is an issue then go for flip 6 as it is pretty decent for the price. The xtreme is for those that want more deeper bass, louder and overall a fuller sound. I would defo buy this again in compared to the choices out there as this for me is by far the best speaker hands down against the competition. I recommend you head to currys to hear it in person to get an idea but as a blind buy you will not be dissapointed with this. Comes with a wall charger and a something to hook the speaker onto so you can carry it around. Buy without hesitation, no matter what genre you like this will play it well. Amongst the ones i tested this was worth tge price. The speaker is waterpoof and dust proof so for those who have pool partys its perfect for that. Battery life is fantastic i have not yet had to charge it and its been 2 weeks so cannot comment on how long it takes to charge. The charger is usb c. Excellent speaker and great price!!!

Recently bought this Portable speaker for outside and general use. I have tried this out in a large back garden on battery power at about 60% volume with the equaliser bass and treble at full and the mid at halfway. And it definitely delivers great clarity and very crisp, and was loud enough at that setting to hear it's great sound ouput. You can also get more of a sound boost if it's plugged into a power source when in use, I like this feature as you get the best of both worlds. The speaker feels very durable and looks expensive compared to others I've had and seen. It's also a decent size not too big or too small, bought it for £199 which for a quality speaker like this is in my opinion fairly good. I would recommend this speaker but wouldn't pay the full price of £299 that some places are asking for it.

fabulous sound and great for carrying portable.

I already have two bought two speakers from JBL before the boombox 3 and charge 5 now I bought the extreme 3 believe me all of them are amazing quality of sound and the bass is amazing battery life is what says in the tin, overall amazing speakers

Been using this JBL speaker for over a year now and the sound is still banging — loud, clear, and holds bass well. Perfect for indoors or taking out with you. Only downside was the strap broke after about a year, which was a bit annoying. But it was easy to replace, so not a massive issue. The speaker itself still works perfectly, so I’d definitely recommend it — just be ready to swap the strap if you’re using it a lot.

Absolutely love this JBL xtreme 3 , very portable, sound quality is very good , I’m an HGV driver and I’ve had this blasting in the lorry ( comes in handy if I cross the border and can’t get a radio signal from lorry stereo or there’s nothing on the radio that I like , so that’s where the JBL comes in handy, stick on tunes that I want to listen to 👌) over all build quality etc is excellent , it’s also perfect for the poolside, beach , garden party , or to have in the kitchen with tunes on while having a few beers with friends, 😎👌👌👍

It’s a great speaker with an amazing sound quality. It is a bit more on the bassi side if you like that (you have a EQ on the JBL app so you can turn down the bass if you don’t like it). Has great features. Is a bit big so you would have to squeeze it into a backpack but with the shoulder strap it’s very easy to carry on the go. The speaker is a bit pricey so at £300 so I would wait for a discount.

Awesome sound from Harmon and JBL....although being in Australia it would be much preferred if it came with an Australian adaptor or wall socket...pointless..sending UK adaptor..now have to purchase one seperatly ..considering the price you would expect both...

Sound is impressive with ballads and fast techno; speakers can handle it spot on. Loud without distortion. Currently, I’m breaking-in the speakers (continuous playing) from our Terrace. Value for the money ( I got huge discount).
