Q: is the AC power cord included?

I didn't receive one with mine, but I never needed a power cord as mine came with a battery and I also already had extra batteries and because I'm always on the go, the AC power cord wasn't a deal breaker for me. Plus the battery life is great as I used one of my batteries and was able to shoot and record with for an all day shoot without ever having to switch the batteries.

Q: Does this come with a battery and charger? The description says it does; however one review said it did not.

Yes, it’s also in the description. 1 x F970 + LP-E6 Battery Plate 1 xPISEN LP-E6 Battery and charger The comment after was (I suppose) to tell you where to get more. I get how that was confusing. You will want to get more though.

Q: How is the hot shoe adapter used when the protective silicone case is installed? The hot shoe mounting bolt is too short to fully engage.

Our hot shoe adapter is suitable for our silicone sleeve. If you use another silicone sleeve or kit which is not ours, you must buy another suitable hot shoe adapter. Thank you
