For students and teachers alike this is an excellent book to read. Everything you need to know about teaching tai chi and what makes a good teacher is in this book. I have a Master of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Education degree in Adult Education and Distance Learning, and I can testify that Dr. Paul Lam has an excellent understanding of people and pedagogical theories. Currently I am not a tai chi teacher but if I decide to become one in the future, I am confident that I have the best tai chi handbook to work with.

Dr. Lam is a master who clearly loves Tai Chi Chuan and unlike many other masters, is NOT an arrogant a$$hole about it. He is encouraging to those of us who are not masters but love TCC and want to share it with others.

Some unnecessary padding out of the material but quite understand his enthusiasm to promote his own videos. Buying one video of your own choice is quite enough ,so you are not confused by overwhelming variety of forms.
