It did the job right.
Straight up first, I'm not sure about the shearness or moisturizing but it has a good thickness, and obviously it does moisturize otherwise it wouldn't work, right? . Main thing for me about this shampoo is, it worked. No more noticeable red areas and itching driving me *=%#! nuts. But it did take a few weeks to start seeing improvements. I had tried a few other products my Dermatologist recommended and I could not stand the smell. Not like I cared as long as it worked but this makes it a 5 star rating. I highly recommend you give this a shot for mild to medium driving me crazy scalp issues and while it may not work for everyone, finally something worked for me.

This not only controls dandruff, it does a great job conditioning my permed hair.
I first bought this at our local drug store, but every time I go to get more they are out of stock! That says something about this product as Selsun has about a dozen different blends for different hair types. This is by far the best one of the lot for my permed hair and dry scalp. Good stuff, and the scent is pleasant.

A good alternative to Head and Shoulders. I try to rotate my shampoo's. I have to use weekly to keep the dandruff away.

This works better than head and shoulders for controlling dandruff! I have very long, thick hair and this is perfect. I definitely prefer it over the original or medicated variation. I wish the packaging was a little more appealing.

That you don't have to buy expensive treatments from the derm doctors.
I bought this because of my doctor and he said by adding one ingredient to this, not only would I save money but I would be pleased with the results. By combining the two ingredients, one I wouldn't be allergic to it like the expensive stuff, but I wouldn't have to use it every day and it wouldn't make my hair dry and fruzzy. My hair is soft and silky and my scalp doesn't itch any longer.

Scent is awesome
I bought this for a niece with thin hair and dandruff, it made her hair smell amazing, looked thicker and more manageable. She loves it!
