5 Stars – Excellent Nitrogen Boost for My Corn Patch! I grabbed this CZ Garden Urea 46-0-0 to give my sweet corn a good nitrogen push this season and I’m really happy with the results. You can see in the picture how tall and green the stalks are – they’ve grown strong and healthy since I applied it. Super easy to use. I just sprinkled it around the base of the plants (followed the instructions on the bag) and watered it in. The granules dissolve nicely and I didn’t notice any burning or issues. Within a couple of weeks the corn really took off with deeper green leaves and better overall vigor. We’re already seeing some nice ears forming too. The bag is a good size, resealable, and stores easily. I like that it’s labeled as an all-natural source of nitrogen – perfect for my backyard garden. No weird smell and it mixes well with the mulch I have down. If you’re growing corn or any heavy-feeding plants that love nitrogen, this stuff works great. I’ll definitely be buying it again next season. Highly recommend!

This product was excellent to fertilizer my corn plants. I lightly placed it around the corn bottoms and cover with soil/compost mixture (hill it up around stems and lightly water. My plants turn green and the now tasseled are starting to show. You don’t need much just a small handful to mix in soil around the base and then top dress with soil mix! Beautiful!

I have a farm in Hawaii, the the fertilizer needs of our plants varies greatly, and even in one species, the yearly needs change. Pineapple needs are far different than coffee , and vastly different than lychee. I have gotten into the habit of ordering my N-P-K fertilizers separate, and using a 10-10-10 or 16-16-16 fertilizer as the base. I do the math to mix the different fertilizer contents for the plants. This source for Nitrogen is good quality and greens my plants well. It a good value for the money. Varying the mixes improves plant health, growth, and has effectively improved our yields.

Very clean white prills that dissolve into a clear solution (hydroponic quality?) Used sparingly throughout the growing season in the vegetable garden to give healthy, fresh, nicely greened leafy vegetables and other edibles.

read carefully, this is 46% nitrogen. it is mixed according to direction or you will harm your plants. gardeners will do this, and for those who think more is better, no, it is not. i have used this in the garden, and to make biochar. it in powdered form offers versatility that makes the use pretty dynamic. i have also used this in composting of mostly carbon piles with some success. read the directions and know the science and you will do well.

I purchased this because I was growing corn for the first time. So far, this product is working well, giving the plants the nitrogen they need. I currently have some plump corn growing.
