How to hookup this to a system with a clarion 3 way crossover? Aux out going to crossover then splits out to mid and bass outputs.

Per audio control circa 1990 or so, the epicenter needs to see up to about 500hz for the algorithm to work, so in most cases it needs be between the source and the crossover. If you put it after the sub crossover it will do almost nothing because it will never see the harmonic clues it needs to synthesize the missing bass notes. Note that nothing it adds will be in these higher frequencies. It does something like seeing a 64hz bass note and looking for a 96 hz tone. If the original sound had a 32hz note that was removed, it's 3rd harmonic at 96hz would be there, but if the original note was 64hz there would be nothing at 96hz.

So this hooks up to your sub amplifier and gives it more decibels

It doesn't add decibels, it creates a Bass signal that is one octave lower and adds to the bass. You can ajust the amount and volume of the added bass. It works REALLY well.

My knowledge of the epicenter is that it only brings out hidden bass and deeper bass ol'skool songs 4sho , rock and some hip hop and r&b songs .but ALL sounds amazing when set right. "It's only enhance" bass
