The cable is broken
I have received this item today and I tried to charge my ipod but unfortunately it came broken. Disappointed!

Yes, I know that I could just use my phone and some Bluetooth earbuds, but I don't like using up all of that storage! Especially since the newer phones don't let you slip in a Micro SD card of higher gigabytage for all of my mp3 files. So when the charging cord started to fray, I started to get worried. But Amazon to the rescue! With no fuss and bother there was a charging cord and a spare in my hot little hand! It works, and I can still listen to my music in my own way!

I happened to get a couple of iPod shuffles. The small square ones. Other cables would not charge them. These do.
